  1. That is good to hear. did you notice any increase in top end at all? or just an increase down low?
  2. Well currently i have stock carbs on with TORS removed, the bike is running great but i want to get more power out of the bike. I was thinking about going with 28 mikuni's, or possibly the trinity stage iv 2 into 1 with the 35 pwk setup. what would you guys suggest ? eventually i want to maybe get the bike ported so if i buy carbs now i dont want to buy another set up down the road if thats possible. Also If i get the 28 mikuni's do they sell the adapters for the air box to fit or do i need to go with pod filters? if i need to go with pod filters how good is the protection with outwears on them in the mud and fine dust/sand? Right now my bike has T5's, vf3's,powernow valves, 13t and 42t gearing, pro design head. This previous weekend my friend and me were almost dead even dragging, but his bike is faster but due to his shitty tires i was able to keep up, his bike has a noss head, trinity stage iv 2 into 1 35pwk, pro flow intake, vforce reeds, stock gearing, fmf sst's. do you guys think that my carb set up is holding me back from being as fast as him? any help would be grealty appreciated
  3. I was thinking about checking out this bike, before i found my new banshee. Do you know if the power line trails out in the cape are legal to ride? I hear they are for the most part all sand which would be awesome
  4. dont know too much about West Greenwich but we ride almost every sunday during the summer in North Kingston/ Exeter, its a decent sized sand pit that runs along the tracks, and has a ton of hills and trails. We get into it from the back of my friends parent's property. My buddy Dave, Corey and I have banshees but all three of them are currently down. Also i hear they ride the trails off of 295, up in Sciuate and i hear its pretty intense but made for dirt bikes not really atvs. Another spot thats awesome is the "dunes" you can see it when passing exit 6 i believe on i95, only thing with that spot is that DEM patrols it heavily and if you dont have access to it through a friend or family's property you're more than likely getting arrested(they will wait at your truck for you)
  5. yea i took the castle nut off and the two bolts off, and it doesnt want to come out what so ever, i was thinking maybe there was a snap ring or something i couldnt see or something like that. I guess im going to have to get a block and hammer tommarrow.
  6. thanks guys, yea thats not bad then $400 for the set. and as far as an addiction to buying parts, i m already drooling over parts so i can tell this is going to be a money pit Hey is there any secrets to getting the steering stem out? btw heres some pics of my basket case right now, they are from the first week i got it, as of right now i have the frame stripped besides the stem and hopefully will go to paint this week.
  7. Hey, well ever since i started riding i always wanted a banshee, and now after going from a modded blaster to a full out kx250 im finally on a shee, it was an impulsive move on my part and a bad one too but hey its a shee. I have a few questions as right now im in the re-building stage: I need a-arms so are wicked a arms any good? Also how do you get the steering stem out? when i was taking off the a arms i noticed that the right side was pretty tight due to probably a crash and also upon inspecting why the stem was not coming out i noticed that the side of the bracket where the tie-rod goes in for the right side, it dips down more than the other is that right? maybe thats why the stem is not coming out for anything? well if anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it, thanks
