when mine did that it was a jetting problem and then a carb float issue... not that that's your problem but it may help...

This my be the totaly wrong thing and way to simple to think about but could it possible be the rev limitor. Simple fix is to remove the cable that connects to the switch on the parking brake. It can removed and should not effect the overall performace of the bike. hope my shot in the dark helps.

I was planning on selling them on ebay for $350 with a buy it now of $400 but i decided to let banshee HQ members have the first stab at them for $350 + shipping. I paid $400 for them and the only thing wrong was the hangers are cracked. Avarage ebay sale is about $450 so this is a smoking deal.. I spoke with the guys at Toomey and they said they'd fix them for free if i sent them the pipes. So i'd be willing to give you a garentee that if Toomey wouldn't fix them i'd give you your money back.
