F$&$ don't run now. Lost the left side pulled the plug and no gap.
-
It ran good. I just did it again . Used old plugs to warm up. Changed the right side out and ran thru sixth gear. It was bogging at the start but ran thru the power band. This one looks like the second plug.
-
I used an ice chest (cooler) to send mine to Holton, KS from New Orleans and back. It worked great. Fill it with old blankets or what ever you have.
-
I ran it up the highway and back. I made it to sixth gear. How much time is on that plug, did you make a full pass and shut it off?

Can you lean the needle some? 1 notch at a time. I have a chart on all the different needles I could send u.
Sure I could use it. Thanks. neilw64@cox.net

Mid to upper band. I'm in sugar mill. We rode around here. The gas and power line across the street. Now the cops are acting like a holes and impounding bikes. I just ordered more jets to drop down. Thanks guys for the help.

421 cheetah cub, 35 pkw, billet intake. CPI inframe, billet Bowls. Stock tank and drilled the vent. I'm in St. Bernard. @piediddy

I'm have issues with my bike and could use some assistance. It runs good for the first 15 mins and then starts bogging. I have oil coming from the header pipe. I changed the jets and went smaller. still bogging. I thought it was rich because the plugs were black. I ran it with the new jets and cut the plug. jets were 175/50. anybody in New Orleans that works on banshee's?

thanks
motosport said the 1 1/8 fit so i got the wrong one

just got mine look great
what size are the stock bars on an 06

ok guys i just put everything back together and i have 135 compression before running the motor.
should i move down on the domes?
cheap compression tester.
any info would help.
-
You are going to have to keep your compression down around 155-160, probably have to have a 23 or 24cc dome. I am sure Noss can hook you up.
thanks all
i just talked to kevin and i need to change the domes to 24's
i was wrong on the domes i had they are 21's
i ordered the new parts.
-
Yea, what the other guys are saying. I wouldn't recommend 20cc domes on a stock motor at sea level on pump gas. Detonation will lift the domes and blow the oring. When you put it back together, run larger domes or higher octane (or both).
-David
hey david i talked to you about a year ago.
its the same problem
its a 4mill cheetah cub. no porting
-
What fuel and octane are you going to run? If you run a 21cc dome you will have around 185 on the compression at sea level that would require staight race fuel. If you are going to run pump gas then you would have to run around a 24cc dome. Since you have a 68mil bore that is a big bore so you are compressing more air, so a 21cc dome on a stock cylinder bore will have a lot less compression than a 68 mil bore. So what octane of fuel are you going to run?
93 pump gas
-
You are running to high of compression for the fuel you are using, i pump about 185 at sea level with a 21cc dome on my 421.
should i try 21's?
i cant find anyone around here that knows about a cheetah cub.
-
You might have just got it installed wrong?
Now on the the piston, what elevation you at? Do you have a compression numbers that it was before the piston broke?
sea level and i did not check the compression.
it was built from a shop twice.
-
no its a noss head
sorry its a f.a.s.t dome

i have no idear what im running. never checked the compression.

O ring on the head??
yes on the head

Is it a trinity dome?
no its a noss head

not at wot. no I didn't do a leak down test the motor was built a few years ago and just did ride it with the bogging.
