  1. I'm very familiar with turbo vehicles, so I"m 100% sure it was a supercharger. It was belt driven off the flywheel. The bike was blue and white, there were some youtube videos of it on the site, and this site linked back to the other trick racing site, but the trick racing 1 site didnt link to this one. There is a guy on PlanetSand that has a supercharged sabertooth honda, it used to be turbo'd I believe but he changed it up. Very cool bike.
  2. I had seen another trick racing website that had a supercharger kit for a banshee, it was about 8k but was making some huge power for stock motors. Anyone else seen this?
  3. Work's got me living in Guam for a few months, maybe a year. One of our birds had a gear fire, wing went up in flames, tons of damage. I've only been here 2 months now. Should be March or so before I get home, I'll give you a call. Hopefully I'll be on a 10 over by then.
  4. Jim built my alky cub, and my best friends gas cub. Mine Runs hard, but not often. After getting the running issues fixed it started breaking trannies. Jim stood behind the bike for the first 3 rebuilds, doing them for little or nothing. I couldnt have gotten that anywhere else. I've met Jim, I consider him a friend of mine. I called him excited as a school girl when my bike put down over 100 on the LS dyno. Then the tranny issues started. First I toasted the shift forks in my override. From backloading apparently. Jim fixed it for cheap one afternoon, we shot the shit for awhile and had a good old time. I took the bike out for a few runs around the house then went to little sahara. Didnt even get to the drag strip before I got slipping again. Jim never would answer or return my calls. So it went to FAST. Jeff finds the problem, hopefully its fixed. No beef with Jim, the cub runs very hard. My 6 over is worthless, I need a 10. I just wish he would have at least declined the work instead of ignoring me. Give me a call sometime Jim, I should be home next year sometime. We'll do Sahara.
  5. I believe it, my Alky 421 put down 101 untuned on Little Sahara Powersports Dyno its first time out, and it isnt ported. I run a 12 blade ultralight hauler on a 6 over and I need more swinger, the 12 blades do great for my motor and my buddys motor that is identical but on gas and 35s
  6. It really depends on what it is. I maintain 4 other shees for friends, do all the work on the 250r, but when it comes to the Shee I have a builder. If something minor breaks I fix it, but its usually been catastrophic failure and I've sent it back for warranty work (Nikisil problem on cubs).
  7. Email Sent.
  8. I have a set of the GRR's and I'm in love. Fitment is C+, and if you have a pingle forget about turning your gas off, its impossible. My buddy has the same motor but with Shearers and less internals, but the GRR's feel like they pull harder on top. And they are Show chromed, which I think is a plus. They use pro circuit silencers, which is pretty lame, but they do sound very good. Here's a few pictures before my motor commited suicide. It ran great... when it got traction But then it decided it didnt want to live any longer.. Apparently 5 hours was too much for it.
  9. So have you even checked your plugs?
  10. This is experience with my bike he is referring to. Yes they are leg burners, and I actually broke a pipe hanger on the 3rd ride out. But he's going to replace the pipe as soon as I get off my dead ass and send it back to him. My buddy has the same motor I have, both dynotuned on the same dyno as far as jetting with a little less internal motor work, and by seat of the pants dyno I think the GRR's actually pull harder longer, whereas the Shearers seem to fall off higher up. Shearers felt like they had more mid to high pull, where the GRR's just pulled on top. Low end on both bikes isnt great, too fat on the pilots.
  11. I really need to get a seat cover made...
  12. I put my +6 on this week and I wasnt wanting to mess with brake fluid so I tried to keep the stock one on there and it fit, so +4 should be fine.
  13. Everytime I see a shee with that setup it doesnt look mean, it looks sad and buck toothed. I'd rather have a blingstar, or better yet, a big ass stick zip tied to the front of my banshee over a jaws bumper.
  14. Same thing, I ended up buying a new tank aswell.
  15. So does anyone have some reserved spots we can stay in? I'll pay half if someone will share.
