  1. Well My buddy came over with his r6 bike and we rode side by side on a backroad and he said i was going 83 as he road next to me. I was pretty close to topped out. Not much left. But I was impressed with my 97 shee. It has holeshot hd tires. Fmf fatty with powercores, trinity 2 to 1 carb, so I thought that was pretty good. Well than I let him ride it and he called me said it wouldn't start or kick. So I get there and the kick starter wont kick at all. Does it sound siezed?
  2. So I had trouble winning the holeshot due to spinning my tires alot this year. I found these for 175, 200 on ebay. ebay How does that look?
  3. i believe the top is the air mixture, but the bottom is the pilot screw. Hope that is correct.
  4. I was at the track the other day going up a jump and then my power stopped moving my quad. So then I stopped put it in to first and tried to go but it won't move. So basically it revs fine but won't move. So is it hopefully just my clutch? Or do I have to mess with the tranny now. If so where to begin guys. thanks.
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANSHEE-2-1...647690032QQrdZ1 Anyone here of these? Look possibly cheap.
  6. So my banshee isn't running the best, lacking some power especially in the lower rpms. But if I get up to the high rpms and shift then the next gear loses power right away, yes I know how to shift and ride the banshee. Well i was thinking jetting issues. Than I noticed my carb boot has some tears in it. Main question is I have a signle keinhin carb. My local dealer couldn't evne special order the boot I need. Anyone know where I can order, besides ebay. Also does it sound like the boot could be the problem. I have a 97 with fmf fatts, something IV reeds, k&n filter with no airbox. I have a 168main jet right now. 32:1 ratio any ideas on jetting sizes, where to put the clip or what. Minnesota eleveation. I will get some pics up of the shee soon, show you all the beautiful deal i got for $2300.
  7. I figured that was the case, but will going to 32:1 anyways help? Or should I stick with 50:1.
  8. I just picked up a 97 banshee 2 days ago for 2350, very good deal if you ask me. Well anyways he even told me it is running a little lean and he isn't the best carb man. Well it has fmf fatty gold pipes, k&n filter with no airbox. 15tt sprocket and as far as I know thats it. He also said it is single carb, which I thought they were dual. He said thats how it came. Well he ran 50:1 i think belray possibly. So it does good until I think it was 4 or 5 gear. Seems like once the I get there in the low end it no quite bogs, but loses all power, then finally it will kick in after a bit. So will switching to 32:1 yamaha lube help? I'm not sure what jet sizes he has, he just said fmf cali is hard to get ahold of. So I main question will the 32:1 help it. If not what shoudl I do. I haven't checked idle speed or anything yet, however every now an then with 1 gear stopped and clutch held in it will die or just sounds super quite.
