  1. I've been loggin hours in oblivion lately. gamertag on 360: bigmfknworm
  2. i really like my 03 raptor. I had the carb jetted, K&N airfilter with the exhaust header&pipe - just enough to really open it up. it rolls out and is a beast in the trails. Its almost tire timethough - I'd like to put some of those big dawg ITP 589 m/s on it and head to some swamp land. + reverse
  3. I own both, so here's my two cents. (I have an 03 LE raptor and the last model SE banshee). The raptor is essentially a tractor with tons and tons of low end which will also stay right up there with the banshee. My 03 is jetted, exhaust and all that and has just as much if not more than the stock banshee. The raptor... its like ridin' the cadillac that wont ever fail you when your talking about trial riding. Banshee screams around the fields and is balz out whenever your ready. When talking about trail riding - it just takes a bit more work and experience... but will rock through the trails too. If I'm going to be on tight trails, where I'm climbing, twisting and turning my way up the mountain - I would rather cruise on the raptor. Just preference and ease of it. As long as you keep the banshee in the powerband , it will take you anywhere you want to go. Trail riding - the raptor has reverse. Both are awesome in their own ways... and I wouldnt trade either of 'em.
  4. I own a 2003 black harley davidson f150. 400+ horsepower and it screams around town. pass anything but a gas station.
  5. stay away from Edinburg.. nothing but rocks and rough riding all day. Very tough on the body and the quad. Just my two cents. There is a rockin' atv park near bedford virgina. my family has 400 acres of private land I ride on next to the bedford park - so a nice weekend of the family land and then the park. its down 81, near roanoke. abt three hours from NOVA area - might be too far for richmond.
  6. Two weeks ago, I purchased a 2006 banshee, the black SE model. Wow what a difference between the shee and my 03 raptor. Anyhow, the dealership said they put it through three heat cycles...and that it was ready for me to go out and thrash. My first day out I put a solid 5 hours on it with the only problems being sore face muscles from smiling so much. The next time I went to take it out, I couldnt get it to start. Choke out, kickin' and kickin' to no avail. Finally roll started it and had no problems after that restarting. I just registered here, and started using the search function - but didnt see anyone with brand new starting problems. I plan to take it back in to have it looked at, but looking for ideas on the problem. thanks in advance, i'm glad i found this site.
