well, i checked the connections again and found the orange coil wire only had a strand holding it to the connector, fixed that and she runs like a champ!!!!! the best part is it didnt cost me any $$$$$. anyways thank you all for your help!!!!! ----------scott

mine has mikuni flatslides each with its own choke--i dont see that hose

forgive me, im new to these machine,s but whats that??? oh btw the plugs are brand new..

the connections and plug wires all checked out ok, any other ideas???

hi everyone... im new to banshees and this site. i have an 89 banshee that ran great until my son hit a deep puddle. i thought he ingested water, but the compression was good in both cylinders so i disassembled the carbs completely and cleaned them. it idles ok but when you ride it breaks up and pops out of th r/s exhaust pipe intermittently.it runs like crap for 3 seconds then ok for 3 seconds repeatedly. i was told that it was possibly electrical such as a cdi or a coil? all the connections seem ok. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks in advance!!!!!
