  1. Heres the mph comparing both gearboxes using my bikes setup (150/17 tire, 40 rear sprocket, 16 front sprocket). Obviously the mph would be different using typical banshee tires sizes but it give you and idea. RZ350 Gearbox: Banshee Gearbox: BTW the RZ Primary ratio is 2.869 but I didnt bother to change it since it made no difference to the mph. Hope this helps.
  2. geez. richest setting on the EEK made no difference from the richest setting DEK on my bike. Weird.
  3. Whats the difference between the DEK and EEK needles? Is the EEK a rich needle or what?
  4. 2.5 turns out on the air adjust screw. 2 turns out on the idle screw. DEK needle 3 clip down from the blunt end. Plugs looked wet..but thats after riding it and its definetly rich in the midrange. I have a new set I'll start fresh with. I havent pulled the bowl off to check what pilot jet is in there but I have the 50 and 55 sitting on my bench. Is it a 45 pilot that is included and already in the carb?
  5. Ive read all over this forum about the trinity single carb but I didnt find anyone asking about idle so Id appreciate some advice. I put a trinity 35mm single carb on my '85 RZ350. I have the stock settings on the carb although I put the 195 main jet in just to be safe until I get the rest of the jets I ordered (200-230). I have the idle screw almost all the way in to keep the bike from stalling. Is this most likely because its too rich at idle? Once warmed up when I put on the choke at idle the engine revs rise some. Im thinking maybe with the powervalves the engine needs less fuel than a banshee that doesnt have pv's? maybe? Where do you have the idle screw on your shee's with the 35mm carb? Heres a pic of the bike - its a wip:
