  1. Dear pipebomb, thats not what I mean. I would like to the fuel tank diagram and the three holes in it. The top hole where you put gas. the middle hole where the "ON" goes to the carbs. The bottom hole where the "RES" goes to the carbs. Thats my guess. Your clarrification will be appreciated.
  2. Can someone please show the sketch of the stock fuel tank of the banshee and "ON" and "RES" in the incorporated into the diagram. Thank you.
  3. Any suggestions? Opinions?
  4. See the banshee manual says 3.2 Gal for Full Tank. And 0.7 Gal for "RES" Now, 0.7/3.2=0.21875*100=21.87% which is approximately 20%. So when you change the lever to "RES", that has 20%(0.7) of your total fuel(3.2) Its a new Stock Banshee. I play for hours on "ON" and then I am out of gas. I switch the fuel lever to "RES" and it lasts [10 MINUTES ONLY] Something is wrong. What do you think is the problem and how long does your RES last. Your help is appreciated.
  5. Whats up dude, how is going I haven't had a chance yet , at first opportunity, I shall check it out and I will tell you. Have a nice evening.
  6. so how long does you reserve fuel last in the dunes/deserts? how many miles on the road?
  7. Thanks a lot Brian, you are a very good person, I hope I shall be of help to you too in the future and to other good members. William
  8. Dear Brian, could you please be more exactl on that picture. You could put an arrow on that picture as of where is exactly that spring or clutch perch. I see a small black sqare there, where is the spring or clutch perch from there --- I appologize for asking alot and trying to be that exact.
  9. Or Even Better TAKE THE IMS 6 GAL ims 6 gal
  10. IMS 5.6 Is the Way To Go..
  11. Its a stock banshee... according to the banshee manual it says the total fuel tank takes 3.2 gal of gas and the reserve is 0.7 gal. The other day, I filled the tank fully (3.2 gal) We started riding/playing for God knows how many hours maybe 3 hours. The fuel tank lever was on "ON" normal position to be on. My banshee stoped operating due to running out of fuel, kicked it coupled of times and I knew it was the fuel. So I switched the lever to "RES", few kicks and it started. The banshee run for about 10 minutes and it stoped due to fuel tank being out of fuel. I Think I have a problem with fuel tank and here is why: 0.7 gal is 20% of 3.2 gal Finishing 0.7 gal of reserve in 10 minutes, don't you think something is wrong. I think 0.7 gal should take much longer than 10 minutes. What do you suggest please. Your help is appreciated. Thanks alot.
  12. Could you please explain exactly what happened. BTW, where is clutch sensor exactly located, what to look for and how does it look like. Thanks.
  13. Wouldn't putting 2/3/4 gallon can on your six pack rack bring to real issues: 1. if the can leaks on your rear break light, so it ignites and boom you have an exlosion or fire. 2. you will be unbalanced so more chances for roll over especially when climbing dunes and you feel you can not make it and decide to turn and that makes you flip. Basically, maybe its kind of a recipe for desaster if not calculated properly and done wisely.
  14. From where can i buy the 5.5 gal tank. and will my banshee with 5.5 look bigger at the tank area or the extension will be hidden inside the body and you won't notice it? thanks.
  15. Backfiring "takh" "takh" "takh" was my real problem plus the loose throttle. Let me tell you something, every normal throttle takes approximately 1 inch of distance from standstill to the maximum push, and the 1 inch push is constant in its hardness. My throttle was soft the first 0.2 inch and the rest of 0.8 inch would be normally hard. The moment i push 0.2 inch of the throttle the engine would rev to its maximum and then backfire "takh" So maybe it was my carb/carbs. As said earlier, the problem got rectified within 20 minutes of driving. Now, things are fine, i have ridden it like for 3 hours and no problem. I really want to know what happened that day.
  16. stock tank is 3.2, if i had to change what would be the next size(s)? Shall i put 1 gallon of gas in my back bag, is there in danger in that? Could you please mention safe places on the banshee where I can mount bottles of gas. Thanks.
  17. Maybe this is exactly what is meant when I was told not to ride on streets, the tranny. BTW, what are sprockets? Thank you.
  18. BTW, when the turned(half rolled), it was on its right side, i mean it was turned on it right side the throttle side and then i turned it on its 4 tires.
  19. ok i will make a better explaination i was riding the banshee and i rolled the banshee side way and then i turned it on its 4 tires. i was riding normally and 5 minutes later this is what happened: the throttle became very sensitive, a small push to the throttle and it was as if i am pushing the throttle to it maximum and the 2 exusts(the 2 pipes) would back fire with a "takh" sound I changed the 2 plugs with 2 new plugs. rode it for about 20 minutes and the problem got solved. I would like to know what happened? and how to fix it next time?
  20. Some people say driving the Banshee on the road asphalt alot will eventually destroy the engine(engine will jam) How much truth is there to it? Thanks.
  21. Its a stock banshee as i am driving the banshee, sometimes the throttle gets soften and the moment i push the throttle a bit the pipes give a firing sound -- approx. 10 seconds sounds like "takh" approx. 10 seconds later "takh" your help is appreciated
