Sorry for the late post if youre still interested. Ive been pretty busy, but this is not how I am when it comes to shipping parts. I can give you my Ebay member name if needed and you will see my feedback is pretty good. -

All of those parts you requested are from a Blaster. Just wanted to make sure you knew. The rear plastics were cut, but done nicely. But id take $140 shipped for all of them. Or $100 shipped for the rims. $20 for the nuts & bolts. $40 for the plastics. Or possibly OBO. -

Hi, Im a fairly new member on here and possibly looking to buy a used Banshee in the near future. Im parting out my Blaster and using the money for it. Im wondering the typical price range of a "running" used Banshee goes for. The ones with the a-arms. Ive seen some for about $2500 on Craigslist and on Ebay it seems a little higher. Do you think I could pick one up for under $2000? BTW, what year did Yamaha switch over to a-arms on the Banshee? Thanks.

Im just saying stainless steel is weaker in general and I would not trust them where stress points will be critical....no matter how well of materials they use. Now how hard is that to understand?
-
What previous post? I read the whole thread. I know what im talking about or I wouldnt even post. Like I said before stainless steel is weaker than queched and tempered medium carbon steel. Stainless steel has a weaker minium yield strength and tensile strength. Go ahead and use stainless steel. Its not my quad to worry about.
-
Let me make a correction. Metric steel bolts are 8.8 and 10.9. Even A-2 stainless steel bolts are weaker than 10.9 steel. Do the ebay sellers that sell the stainless steel bolts even say what grade they use?
-
Sorry, but I wouldnt buy from fastnerguy. Why? Those bolts and nuts are stainless steel which is just about the same strength as grade 2 steel. Steel has grade ratings 2, 5, 8, 10.9. Grade 8 is used for automotive uses and 10.9 is very strong. Unless youre using stainless steel for the plastics, electrics...etc. than thats ok. But dont even think about using it for the foot pegs, shocks, engine mounts...etc. Some of you are saying Alloyboltz suck. They use stainless steel also. Buy from the Ebay member seaduke and oldz442. They both use 10.9 steel. Not stainless steel. If you want to go all out, use titanium, but its pricey. Racebolts.com has some kits. I have also looked into making my own kit. But its really hard to find the right bolts and nuts. Even metric is hard to find, but when you do find it....it needs to have the right thread pitch. Plus, its really time consuming. I ended buying from seaduke, so I can let you know how those kits are.

Thanks for the replies. I was just trying to decide whether to go with one of those or a roundhouse. I know a roundhouse is the way to go, but im on a budget too. The funny thing is on that ebay auction they say its a MX racing swingarm and is virtually indestructible. :ermm:
-
Would this swingarm be strong enough for MX? Im pretty concerned about it, but would like to know if anybody owns one of these too. Thanks. Click Me

I need one in good condition without any bends or cracks. Doesnt have to come with the handlebar clamps, but if it does, ill take them anyways. Im not looking to pay too much since they go really cheap on Ebay. Im just tired of fighting with last minute bidders. Thanks.
-
Could someone take a measurement of the stock steering stem just as pictured? It would be much appreciated. Or if you would know if the Banshee steering stem is longer than the Blaster? Thanks.
-
Yeah ive been looking. I missed out on a good deal a few days ago.
