Hey guys, its my first post but I wanted to go to folks that really knew somethin before I took the plunge to a banshee. I am looking at buying an 87 banshee that supposedly has a 2000 motor on it. My question is are there any inherent weak components on a banshee that old that I would want to upgrade or look closely at before purchase. Also how could I tell if the motor was that new. He claims to have some driveability problems with right now because he used the 87 carbs on the motor. This will be my first banshee, always wanted one, and am an ASE master auto tech so I am not worried about some major work. I figure if it runs thats a good start. I think I can get it for about $1200.00, I dont expect anyone to tell me if thats a good deal, too many variables, but I am looking for any and all input, except dumb shit.
