Im replacing the front pads, and i was wondering how to get the old ones off/new on?? Any install guides? I've done them before on auto's but this is different..Unless Im missing something,heh..Anybody? 00'shee, front brake pads.

2000 Yamaha Banshee- Bored .040, Vito's Performance forged pistons/rings Machine work was done by Capital City machine in Springfield,IL. Boyesen reeds w/carbon fiber cages Carbs have been jetted, along with new needles/seats( in the past 6 months) Shearer inframe drag pipes, with the chrome finish. POD filters with KN outerwears. FAST heavy duty clutch w/ all 6 springs new rear tires new front brakes RS adj. timing plate +4* timing The front fenders have been race cut by the previous owner. No holes or huge gashes in the plastic, just usual wear. The seat has one tiny hole in it, a little smaller than a dime. Other than that, its in pretty good condition for its age. This quad will fly, so its not a beginner bike . Its got the factory silver wheels on it, not the polished ones like the pics show. Shoot me some offers, and willing to meet halfway, depending your location..Like to get $3200 for it. All the top end work, was done less than 3 months ago. Gotta sell this, Im gettin' a motorcycle. I know this is short notice, but there is at least a dozen of us, headin' over there Sunday morning. Im the only Shee', couple YFZ's, KVX 700, and the rest are utilities with big tires..We'll have two trailers loads of quads, if there's anybody over there..Just a thought.

Sounds good man, how do I know if I need bigger than 350 jet??? I bought the Shee' this way, so it wasn't my choice to put these pipes on it. I plan on breakin' this motor in at the Badlands, so it should be a pretty good time. Odd question, but why would you need a bigger jet at Silver Lake?

The way its looking now, I'll be addin' a set of reeds to this setup...So, what jets should I bump up to?? Main/Pilot?? Whats the proper way to go about this? Even if I dont add the reeds, do you honestly think Im lean, the way it sits? Im new at this, so be nice..lol

What about a billet impeller for the waterpump? I heard about them, but dont remember where...

We're not taking the crank out, just everything above that...Its not broke, so Im not fixin' it The elevation around here is around +400's I think..The pipes on a basically stock motor isn't too bad, it has pretty good top end, and will out run an even-matched Shee' with T5's. Do you guys have a link for the porting? DIY site or somethin' like that? Im gonna try and get a set of reeds as well, Vforce 2's, Boyessen, somethin' along those lines. Need anything else? Where would I weld the crank, if for some reason I DO need to remove it?

Due to last weekends sandbar trip, the Shee' is gettin' bored .020", using a kit from Vito's Performance which comes with all the goods(my buddy ordered it w/o me knowing,lol). I know i'll need to re-jet it, but what else do I need? Mods are in sig. Its basically gettin' new rings,pistons,rod bearing(which was bad),etc. Anybody have a clue as to what jets I'll need? I think it will be a 352 Shee when all is said and done. We're tryin' to get it all rapped back up so we can hit up the Badlands on Sunday

It'd be nice to go back there again, with ya Mullet'...Have to check on the work schedule.. I work in Astoria, and have always heard about that place out there..I know some guys that ride out there with dirt bikes. Might have to check it out sometime.
