  1. if the extra smok is coming out the right exhaust then it is the crank seal right side crank seal on right side is exposed to tranny oil if it goes bad it will suck tranny fluid left side crank seal goes to stator side cover and will suck air. if it is sucking tranny fluid you have to split cases to replace seal splitting cases on a banshee is not very hard if you do snowmobiles a banshee will be a piece of cake good luck
  2. I just took my frame to get it powdercoated it will be gone for a week and a half. Meanwhile my parts came for my rear singarm but i dont have the bike to mock up with. I'm building a 6 over with a round housing i need to know length center of pivot to center of round housing if anyone knows. or if anyone would measure center of front sprocket to center of pivot bolt that would help Off topic, anyone run t-rex with inframe if so who made pipes? thanks
  3. pull off your clutch side cover and take a look at the shift star the end of the shift shaft has a piece that sort of wraps around the shift star. the part that wraps around should not be stuck in the middle. if it is pull of your shift lever and push the shift lever end of the shaft into the motor. then push it back from the clutch side of the motor. reinstall shift lever and try shifting. I had this happen 3 times one weekend. replaced the shift shaft and no more problems. If you have a bent shift fork and have to split cases be sure to reshim 2nd good luck
