  1. I just bought a used 01 banshee. I got the bike to start but I have no clutch. I looked at the cable and it seems ok. When I hold it in It has a slight tension on it and it springs back like it should but I cant get it working at all, no slip or anything. Where should I look next? thanks
  2. I am checking the carbs and boots for air leaks as eveyone has suggested. I also just checked the compression. I tested each cylinder and cranked them each 4 times. The left cylinder got up to 130 and the right got up to 125. Everything is stock on this bike so are these acceptable readings. Thanks for the input.
  3. Everything is stock on the bike. How do I adjust the carbs?
  4. I had a problem with no spark unless I held the throttle in so I dissconnected the tors box and got spark. I tryed starting it several times but would not start so I sprayed some starting fluid in the carbs and got it started and running on gas after several attempts. The problem I am having is when I rev it up it does not come down it stays reved up unless I turn the off switch just to the point where it will cut out then it will idle normally. Carbs are clean. I looked in the carb throat and made sure the throttle was not sticking and it was working like it should. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I t is 40 degrees in Md so I dont Know if that could be affecting it.
  5. I just bought a used 01 banshee. It looks like it was'nt well cared for. I just tryed starting it for the fisrt time and I was'nt getting any spark. I did some trouble shooting and found the only way I get spark is if I hold the Thumb throttle in at least a quater way while starting. When I dont hold the thumb throttle in I dont get any spark. Is this normal and what is the propper starting procedure. Thanks
