I already bought the cable and still have the tors. the tors is not the problem. the cable keeps coming out on the right side of the 2 into 1. All I need to know is if your bikes have the 2 into 1 vertical or horizontal. The throttle cable is sticking on the lip of the rubber piece that the two cables go into to.

I put on a new throttle cable but i don't recall if the 2 cables out of the tors connected with each other in the throttle cover vertically or horizontally. Can someone take a quick look at there bike under the gas tank and check? (If you don't know what i am talking about the throttle cables come out of the tors and connect with each other in a rubber cover but i dont know if the cover should be set up vertical so that one cable is above the other or horizontally so that they are side by side. The reason I ask this is because the cables slide out of the 2 into on 1 connection causing the tors to activate killing my bike

Since this is the last year of productoin for the bansshee/blaster is there any way the 03-06 models will be changed to green sticker since they got em to stop making them. 4 more years of green stickers couldn't hurt. After all my 01 banshee used to have a red sticker then they changed the law to make it have a green one

Well I took the plastics off and the gas tank off and I noticed the cable slipped out of one of the covers right where the cable splits so I tried to rout it a little differnt so it doesn't happen again.

My throttle cable broke the other day inside the throttle assembly it was a stock thumb throttle. I bought a new aftermarket one for $33 and I don't think you can replace it from the split on.

I just put on a new throttle cable because the old one broke inside the throttle assemby. I rode the bike for about 7 minutes and it worked fine. Then the bike wanted to die when ever I let go of the throttle. Then I reved it high and let go of the gas but the bike continued to rev out the roof. I turned the engine switch to off but it kept going, I turned the key off and took it out but it kept going so i let the clutch out in a high gear and it died. I am going o check the bike tonight after dinner. Any suggestions?

But my stock one s are 3+2s and the ITPs are 2+3s and aren't they both steel?

I was going to buy some new front tires along with ITP steel rims and I wanted to know if they are as strong as the stock 01's. I haven't had any problems with my stock ones but wanted the ITPs because they are 2+3s and I would like the added handling. Also I don't want to flip my stock rims because the ITP come mounted with tires for only $117. I don't have the right hardware to put tires on myself so it wouldn't be much mor eexpensive to just order the ITPs instead of paying someone to swap my old tires with the new ones on the stock rims.

Anyone going to Hollister this Sunday?

I was wondering if I would be able to get away woth slapping a green sticker on a non-green sticker legal bike in California this summer and I wonder if they will check the registration also?

I went to Hollister yesterday and saw a couple of other guys on Banshees. I was just wondering if anyone from here was there?

I was going to use my old rims for paddle tires and buy some douglass rims for the front and rear eventually but i was going to buy the front douglass rims first is it ok to just have the douglass rims in the front or will it ride weird?

If I put some douglass rims on my banshee but only in the front and it will add an extra 1" on each side will it handle awkward since i am doing nothing to the back? Also what about +2 +1 A-arms on my banshee without touching the back?

I don't think my bike needs more power it needs better handling I am beating losing to some quads in the corners. I need better handling so i can beat people in the corners and out. What do you recomend I buy?

Does anyone have their Banshee setup for Mx or trail riding? If so what do you have on it? Also how much did it cost?

Yeah I still have the TORSs. What are the advantages of taking them off and what else do I have to do to the bike if I remove them? Also I will play with the screws

Has anyone here ever used a helmet cam when out riding if so how good of quality does yours have and do you have any recomendations as to which one to buy

I have an 01' banshee all stock it idles fine except it won't idle with the choke out all the way or half way when the bike is cold. What can be causing this?

I just started riding again and have been going to hollister hills for the past 2 1/2 months but I haven't seen another Banshee yet. Does anyone here ride there? Also I never go on the weekends because I work so on the week days it is pretty much empty.

I was thinking some Douglass rims to add some width I think they add about 1" inch on each side. I was also thinking I could get some 1.5" wheel spacers instead of the rims. Where can I purchase a steering damper and how much?

I have a Stock 01' Banshee and I was wondering what I should buy to give it better handling. I don't want to spend to much and I ride mx tracks and trails. Any suggestions?
