I have a motor that im putting together and since its all apart and the crank is sitting in a box Im thinking of getting it welded. How much should it cost to get that done and also whats a good place in the Los Angeles area to get it done? thanks

I know you guys have seen this over and over... BUT since im new to this and don't have where to start..... The bike was fried when I got it..... so I don't want to ever try to start there as every time this bike went out it would seize... lol IF it was my 4 stroke I know where to get in the ball park and take it from there... but on the shee im shooting blind. This is what I have... Please help me get in the ballpark... FMF Fatties with FMF silencers Stock Carbs with K&N pod filters with no air box Wiseco STD bore pistons (new top end) New crank stock head and no porting. I'm at sea level also.... Any help is appreciated.

An ole project.... Motor had the norn... ported polished... pipe and new piston... Honda 250r plastics.... lol Couldnt stand the look of suzuki plastics..

If he takes the head pipes... I might be intrested in the silencers..... let me know...

PM me what ever details you have on them... are they ported? Do they need a bore Job or just hone? I can screw my old studs in right? Also do you have the pistons that came out of there? thanks PM details if possible.

Thats what I thought. until I seen the bike that is running the cylinders. He as a extra set for sale. According to my friend its bored out to a 400. I looked all around to see if I found pics but nada. The head is also stamped with FMF as well as the Cylinders.

My buddie just called and asked me about some FMF Cylinders for his shee, They guy selling them told him that they are better than anything out there. He also mentioned to him that you cant buy them in the stores. They look pretty trick cause its the cylinder reeds and carb, no boot at all. It also has a FMF head.... Are they any good? or are they worth some cash? He is waiting for my responce to purchase.
