is their any kind of alignment with the gears in the trans? should i be able to get through all the gears without the clutch? before i put the shift shaft and shifter in it seems to go alright if i move the sprocket back and fourth, when i install the shaft it seems to get stuck in 3rd or somethin like that... it just stopped workin one day ridin.. we take it apart, clean all the shit and put it back in shiftin fine, realize i forgot the circlips in the shaft.. and go back together and it wont shift.. it shifts but like it just gets hung up.. does the shift cam wear out? after a period of time does somethin wear out to loook. i see no metal shavings, and no broken parts.. shift forks seem to be not seized, forks arnt burn and not grinded up at all.. wtf could this be? would a new shift star and cam solve this, performance ones? PS it shifts fine with just the forks and cam in there.. when i put the main shaft and counter shaft in it gets messed up... but the whole time i didnt have the clutch on.. will it not shift through all gears without the clutch on... kinda weird cuz it shifts fine with just forks and shafts for forks... like i said when i put the trans gears in it doesnt work... checked the book they are put in right???????????????
