Hey guys hows it going! just needing a little advice here. its not a banshee question but i thought you guys might could help! my friends 2006 honda trx 450r will not keep up with my shee now when were riding on our flat track due to mine being faster plus it a shee lol. im looking for a website or forum like the banshee hq but one for hondas...looking to get some mods for the 450r it already has pipes and jetted but was looking into camshafts and seeing which one would be a good choice..i here the 450's will not stay together and hold up like the shees when there modded... just looking for some site where other people owns them and can tell me some facts i appreciate any help guys!
  3. hey i have a 1993 shee bored .040 over with wisecos...cool head with 22cc domes....ricky stator advanced 5+ degrees.....pro circuit platinum pipes and silencers...300 mains..stock pilots...needles in factory position. castor 927 mixed 32:1 . this shee runs strong..but when i "drag race" it a few times or ride it really hard it starts running poorly and sputtering and cutting out..especially if i get in the woods on some trails after riding it hard out in open. overheating?? no coolant leaks since built and mixed 50/50 ....mains need to be bigger ? pilots? needles? also the clutch slips badly when shee gets hott from hard riding..if you let her cool off clutch and engine works top notch! my elevation here is 931 feet. does the 300 mains seem too small for my elevation and pipes? thanks for any help guys! but this shee still out drag races a 06 piped and jetted trx 450r close on low end and midrange but im ahead on top. usually i get him on low and midrange too. seem about right? will some toomey t6's give me more of an edge ? thanks guys for your help!

  5. heres another question for you all.....my banshee .040 over.....wisecos....ricky stator advanced +5 degrees....cool head with stock 22 cc domes.....mains 300...stock pilots...pro circuit platnium pipes and pc silencers vs. my friends shee.....................completley stock...no add ons .....only has t6 toomeys installed and jetted 290 mains... his shee with the t6's vs mine with all the add ons is as fast as mine neck and neck. does this sound right? i mean does the t6's actually have that big of a difference over the pc's? before his shee was only jetted with 230 mains. and was really slow....and i gave him my old 290's because i knew he was to lean with the t6's and it really made his run...maybe i need to get some t6's lol . my shee already had the pc's when i bought it thats why i havent changed brands yet...do you recommend t6's for my setup or something different? will the t6's give me more power? thanks for any help you guys!
  6. hey guys have a question, when i ride my banshee it runs good and strong... ride out in open mostly..but if i ride it for a long time and get into some trails for a few minutes...it starts sputtering and cuts out ...running poorly...you can get her back home and let her cool down and shes perfect again! it also does it after a few really hard drag races. just wondering if it is actually just getting to hott or jetting still seems to lean. its running 300 mains and stock pilots right now with the pro circuit platnium pipes and pc silencers. no radiator leaks..full of coolant.. mixed 50/50 ..never lost any coolant since put together . also clutch slips after this happens...every time....when cools clutch is perfect again..... its .040 over with wisecos ..has a ricky stator adjustable stator ...new coil..and new cdi. always has run perfect except for when its run hard .. and the stator has always been advanced to +5 degrees since built. stator to much advanced? need larger mains still? pilots? anyone have any ideas..thanks very much if you can help!

  8. thanks for the reply! yea i know banshees arent as good in the trails...so do you have stock cylinders that have been ported? which port job did ya get..the full drag port? what jetting did ya have to do after the porting? thanks!
  9. OK PEOPLE MY QUESTION IS HOW DOES STOCK BANSHEE CYLINDERS BORED TO 65 MM. COMPARE TO THE CUBS 65 MM. CYLINDERS WHICH WOULD BE 358CC ? I KNOW THE CUBS ARE LIKE A MONO PIECE (MADE TOGETHER). DOES THE CUB CYLINDERS ALREADY HAVE A DIFFERENT PORT DESIGN WITHOUT THEM BEING PORTED?? COMPARED TO THE YAMAHA STOCK PORT CYLINDERS? WHAT IM ASKING IS CAN YOU TAKE A SET OF STOCK BANSHEE CYLINDERS BORE THEM TO 65 MM. AND SEND THEM TO SOMEWHERE LIKE TRINITY OR DUNCAN FOR FULL PORTING AND OUT DO A SET OF STOCK CUB CYLINDERS?? MY FRIENDS PIPED AND JETTED 06 HONDA TRX 450R IS RIGHT ON MY ASS WHEN WE RACE ON THE HIGHWAY WERE PRETTY NECK AND NECK OFF THE BOTTOM AND THRU MIDRANGE..THEN ILL FINALLY PULL AWAY FROM HIM ON TOP END.. MY SHEE IS STOCK BOTTOM END ...STOCK CYLINDERS (NOT PORTED) BORED .040 OVER...WISECOS...COOL HEAD...WITH 22CC PUMP GAS DOMES...RICKY STATOR ADJ. STATOR ADVANCED 5+ DEGREES ....PRO CIRCUIT PIPES AND SILENCERS....STOCK CARBS....MAINS JETTED TO 300...STOCK PILOTS...NEEDLES IN FACTORY SPOT... UNI AIR FILTER WITH AIRBOX LID REMOVED... IM A SPEED FREAK AND WANT MORE POWER THAN WHAT I GOT! ANY OTHER IDEAS BESIDES THE CUBS?? DIFFERENT PIPES? CARB TUNING? BIGGER CARBS? DIFFERENT CC DOMES? ETC...? THANKS GUYS AND SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS IN ONE FORUM!

Ok i have a question for you guys? i have a 1992 banshee....i just freshened it up, it was already .040 over,with wisecos,pro circuit pipes and silencers,ricky stator adjustable timing plate...+4 degrees,carbs jetted to 300 on mains and stock pilots, i just took it apart and replaced main crank bearings ,rings and gaskets and installed cool head with just (pump)22cc domes. man this thing runs good for what it is!...i raced a 06 honda450r piped and jetted and from a dead stop drag on highway i can get him off the bottom,midrange he starts to catch up for a second but them im out in front thru top end again. but starting off in 3rd gear about 15 mph sometimes its a close one but ill always pass by on top end .. i need more power for bragging rights,lol if im gonna win i wanna do it by a lot not just a little. the bad thing is my buddy has a 98 shee stock engine but just put on aset of t5's and thats it...he was jetted 260 mains and i would embarrass him i gave him some 290 mains and that was a mistake...his will run with mine now...are t5's that much more powerful than the pro circuits?? anyway...what should i do to mine to get more power?? i know porting should be done but im not sure where to send to get it ported and what kind of porting job to get? my kinda riding style is drag racing ....dirt roads mostly but some woods riding also... thanks for any suggestions!
  11. HEY YALL I NEED SOME HELP! I BOUGHT MY 1ST BANSHEE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND IT WAS NOT RUNNING.... THE STATOR WAS BAD CAUSING IT NOT TO FIRE. BUT I TOOK THE ENGINE APART TO PUT IN SOME NEW SEALS ...RINGS..GASKETS...ETC. AND OF COURSE TO SEE WHAT IT HAD INSIDE,LOL IT IS .040 OVER WITH WISECO PRO LITES ...IT HAS A AFTERMARKET SET OF REEDS LOOKS LIKE MAYBE SOME BOYESEN POWER REEDS . A WHITE BROTHER BOOST BOTTLE....A PRO DESIGN COOL HEAD WITH 22CC DOMES....AND A SET OF PRO CIRCUIT PLATINUM PIPES AND 304 SILENCERS. SO WHEN I GET TO THE CARBS THE TORS HAVE BEEN TOOK OFF AND IT HAS A TWIST THROTTLE...BUT THE MAIN JETS ARE SIZE 180 AND I THOUGHT THAT SEEMED REALLY TOO SMALL FOR ALL THE MODS. AND WHEN I REASSEMBLED IT I DIDNT WANNA RUIN THE ENGINE WHEN IT CRANKED. I NOTICED A FEW PEOPLE HERE TALKING ABOUT 280'S AND 300 MAINS....ANYONE HAVE MY SETUP AND WHATS A CLOSE SIZE JET TO START WITH. THE AIRBOX LID HAS ALSO BEEN REMOVED AND IT JUST HAS A NEW UNI AIR FILTER ON IT. AND DOES THE AIRBOX LID NEED TO BE USED BACK?AND ALSO I BOUGHT A NEW RICKY STATOR WITH ADJUSTABLE ADVANCE..WHATS IT NEED TO BE SET ON TO WORK RIGHT WITH THE JETS AND MY OTHER MODS? AND IM NOT SURE OF THE SEA LEVEL HERE..IM IN NORTHEAST,GEORGIA NEAR ATLANTA AS I KNOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN JETTING. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT WITH SOME OF MY QUESTIONS! THANKS A BUNCH.
