  1. stiil have them?
  2. some one make me an offer my garage keeps getting smaller
  3. up for sale is my super clean 2003 yamaha banshee,i bought this from a friend about 4 years ago who literally rode it 1 time and decided it just wasnt for him,it has been maintained to the highest of standards.it is in perfect mechanical condition, which means it needs absolutly nothing.i am selling it because i have too many other machines and ride this one the least amount,it has very low hours and it shows.this quad runs and drives like a new machine, the suspension is tight and everything works like it should. MODS:Jet hot coated Pro-circuit head and tail pipes, adjustable timing plate, boysen rad valves, head has been milled .020(still runs on pump gas),top end was inspected and the rings replaced 5 riding hours ago,TORS has been deleted the proper way,K & N filter, new shredder rear tires. PERFORMANCE:i have tuned this quad so it has very strong low end torque, which banshees usually lack, however this has not compromised the high rpm that they are know for.it works very well in tight trails as well as the top end charges needed for dune riding. you will not be disapointed in this quad see all the pictures by following the link http://www.putfile.com/album/163157 i will be willing to travel for delivery at the expense of the buyer(supply fuel charges) first $3100 takes it i am located in nothern il
  4. anyone???????
  5. well i tor it down today heres what i found:reeds were in good shape gonna replace them as long as its apart, there is unburnt fuel in the left reed cage, not sure why.Im posistive the slides are in the correc carbs,Im very cautious about that when i clean the carbs. So heres my delema,I ve eliminated all the posibilities for a problem that i can, the only 2 things that are still in question are the tors and the main jets. How do yoy bypass the tors???and while its apart im gonna jet it down a few sizes and see how it runs then.Is it possible if the main jets are too big it will affect the part throttle drivability???
  6. thats exactly what mine is doing the airfilters and the rear of the carbs have fuel in them,im pretty sure ill find my problem there ill keep you guys updated
  7. tors is still hooked up the e-brake is also there but definitley not the problem,im sure its not the jets as stated before ive been running this set-up for the better parts of 6 months and it just started happening which would rule out the jetting, and ive owed banshees since 89 so im very familiar with the carbs and quit sure that the problem isnt a dirtry or clogged jet.I dont recall what jets are in the mains but the low speed jets are stock, and the pin is ont the second from the bottom or vise versa, acnt recall.Im going to pull the carbs again tommorrow and check the jetting and the reeds ill post back my findings, any other suggestions will be appreciated
  8. what happens when the reeds are bad?heres the problem,my shee runs great at wot, however when part throttle cruising or low engine speed it bogs baddly and starts to foul plugs, but if i keep the rpm's high it still runs great.I did a compression test last night and neither cylinder is down on compression, and also it is had to start now.The carbs have been cleaned twice now and i have been running the same setup for several months without this problem occuring, which leads me to believe it may be the reed valves which are stock, any thoughts???
  9. i justbought a drum of torco110,coet just about 4.50 a gal, that will get me by until the gas station near me gets theirs in and thats only 4 bucks a gal for 110,both are leaded fuel
  10. i run 10 lbs on pump gas 720rwhp,and 20-21 on 110 octane over 1000 rwhp, yes there is a griffin built to spec intercooler behind the front facia that works very well,my intake air temps usually only go up 5-8 degrees above ambient on a typical run.yeah the red camaro is jim morans ,who helped me build my system and that car is sick as well makes 850/850 rwhp/rwtq and can go 9's pimpin the a/c
  11. t4 only designates the exhaust flange not the actual turbo size, how much power do you want to make
  12. actually they are twin 61's,no alchohol,i mix 50/50 93 and 110 torco, and yes im with speed inc.yeah those caprices are quit a force to be reconed with
  13. thanks guys, its afactory 8.8"ford rearend with all good components, suprisingly they are very strong. The trans however is a different story, ive gone through several different trannies with limited success, finally this year ill have a bullit proof trans its built by g-force transmission, they take a stock t-56 trans and replace the factory gears with their own. There are several turbo vipers, mustangs and f-bodys(camaro&firebirds)that are running in the low 9&8 sec quarter times with these. Not to mention a co-worker /friend who helped me on the car has a twin turbo camaro that makes 850rwhp has been running one of these trans's for 3 years now with no problem
  14. if i put a lift kit on it id have to kick my own ass
  15. yeah the a\c kinda took a back sesat to the hp,well worth it,there is no video of it with this combo however ther is aburnout vid on our web site from when it was a solid roller all motor car www.speedinc.com go to the bottom right of the page it titled "danimal tearin up the cooch"
  16. its eagle forged crank and eagle h-beam rods in a ford racing r-block,and thanks
  17. thanks, its called that because we specialize in the ls platform motors in the camaros and corvetts
  18. totally not quad related but it still kicks ass the car is a 1995 mustang cobra ,349 c.i. motor custom twin turbo built by myself and a friend in a couple weekends time.It is a 6spd manual trans, full interior, custom sound system, street car the only thing it does not have is a\c here is a link to some pics from our web site. The car makes 1020 rwhp http://www.ls1speed.com/danimal.cfm take a look and let me know what you think
  19. i really have only ridden it about 1 or 2 times since those mods, and i knew it wasnt right,so it was not wot.If i had kept that set up i would have done nmore tuning, thats why it hasnt melted down
  20. going from modified t-3's to pro-circuit full exhaust, current set up:clamp on k&n's,modified t-3's with stock tail pipes,no reeds stock carbs, changing only the xehaust system as stated above ,I currently have 250 main jets, dont remember the pilot size,im at around 800 ft above sea level, any imput would be helpful, thanks
  21. i dont have them yet, should be here tomorrow but i wont have time to instal and tune til saturday, ill let you know how they are then
