  1. Just wanted to say thanks for the input. I think i got it i took all the plastics off and the tank to get a better look at the electrical system and found a very rusty sandy dirty ignition key taped up under the tank. When i tested it with my VOM the circuit would open and close if you shook the switch. After a new coil and stator all it took was a butt connector to fix the problem.....At least i hope lol ill find out next time i get her in the sand. Any ways thanks again for the input it put me in the right direction.
  2. its all hooked up still. what all do i need to pull off?
  3. I have been trying to get electrical problem fixed for a while and still cant figure it out. I have a 2000 banshee that runs great for 20 min then looses spark for about 10 min before it comes back. I have replaced the coil and just put on a new stator and still it just wont stay running. I dont want to go to a dealer but im running out of ideas. Any new ideas would be great thanks
  4. cool thanks for the help. im trying to see if theres somthing els before i buy a new stator.
  5. the fuel is on when im running it. Its loosing spark when it dies after a few min i get spark back and it runs again. Im thinking bad stator but the one thats on it looks like a new after market stator
  6. Ok I have a used 2000 that runs for about 20 min than dies i have replaced the coil and checked the resistance on the stator everything looks brand new. the timing was at about 4 degrees advanced so i took it down to 0. It runs fine till she warms up than dies for about 10 min before i can fire it back up for a nother 15 min or so before it dies again. Any ideas would be great thanks.
