ok... so my shee was running fine, then I decided to clean the air filter... well I cleaned it and put it back on... then today I tried to start it for the first time in a month or so and it was only firing one piston... so we messed aroubd with the idles and still couldnt get that piston to fire... we ran a compressions check and got about 115 on each side...the plugs were sparking but now they dont look like they are... And now it wont start on either piston... grrr ... what should I do... any ideas???

I just took out my filter to clean it cause it needs it, I hadnt been running my precharger for awile but I found it and looked at it and it is filthy! What is the best way to clean the precharger? I bought the recharge kit to clean my air filter with from K&N (Cleaning and oil) but the nylon precharger... best way to clean it? any suggestions would be awesome! thanks

How far should I gap the spark plugs on my Shee? I am running NGK BR8ES They seem to run pretty good right out of the box but if I can get a longer life out of them by gapping them correctly so be it. The other question I had is what kind of oil should I run in my crank case? I am mixing 32:1 with 93 octane and 2 stroke oil in my fuel mixture, but I am not sure what oil I should run in my crank. Any help would be apreaciated. (oh and I got my shee together now, she looks nice, prob gonna take some pics this weekend before I race.) EDIT: Oh yeah I got another question I forgot to ask earlier... I am going to take my air filter out and clean it tonight with soap and water. What should I spray on it when I am done cleaning. I dont really want to go buy the stuff I heard you can use like transmission fluid of something. but willthat be ok?

Hey, If someone could help me that would be great, if not I will take it to the shop because I just dont know where to start on my own. This is my first Shee its a 97 and I am pretty sure it needs the carbs rebuilt, I was also told to check the reeds on it. First off I dont know where the reeds are located at (underneath the carbs I am guessing) but how do I know if they need replaced? Secondly, I bought 2 carb rebuild kits from yamaha but they didnt come with any diagrams or anything and I dont want to open my carbs and not know what I am doing. How do I rebuild the carbs... anyone? Thirdly, I will explain how it is now so you can tell what you think... right now it doesnt like to start cold.. (I usually have to push start it when cold) but when its warm it will kick over pretty eacily. but when it runs it doesnt scream... it sorta bogs real slow in the first 3-4 gears... once in 5th it weill start to go fast... but thats more or less cause its in 5th I think... I am guessing maybe the carbs arent synced either? Lastly, what is the best gas/oil mixture to run in the bike, I had my buddy who rides 2 strokes to mix it before but what is best for a Shee? Yes warriors have revers, it works I use it every now and then when I get in a bind trail riding (its nice to have) as far as a plow goes, my friends has a plow on his warrior and used it so I know its possible but I have never put one on. Deffinately interested though... shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and we can talk more, I would like to see some pictures of the shee and we can talk about possibly meeting for a trade... Do warriors have reverse? I'm looking for something 4stroke with reverse to use to move some snow this winter as well as fun to rid. I have a 97 banshee with aftermarket handlebars, axel nerfs, rims and RAZR tires... not sure what all else as I bought this used... carbs need adjusted before it will run right as I just replaced them and have not had time to adjust them yet... I could do this before we were to trade. I'm in NW ohio about 30mins from Indiana so we could meet half way if your interested. LMK if your interested, it is white with a powder coated frame and swingarm

Nice Warrior for sale or trade, Want Banshee... Hi I have a 1997 Warrior, I want to race this next season and the Warrior isnt fast enough for me, It is a nice quad, its fast powerful, and reliable, but for racing I MUST upgrade... It has Yellow Plastics, and Rear Rims, New Front Rims, Aluminum Front Bumper, Renthal Bars, 1 Small hole in seat (about the size of a pea), Underbody Skids, Swingarm Skids, Also I will include a new starter, rear sprocket, and front sprocket. I have some pictures taken from last winter when I first bought it, I will go take some pics of it now if you would like, but it looks more or less the same. I am asking $2500 for her, she runs great and has good treads, but she now needs a new rear brake calliper and disk... So I will say $2200 obo as is, or trade for a banshee, will consider trade for other race quads also... WILL NOT consider trade for 300ex or Blaster...
