  1. RBD... Thanks for the info.... 0.003 thousandths... I really do appreciate the help Just spoke to Wiseco..They will be e-mailing me the spec's that where supposed to be in the box from the beginning...I asked for the clearance and they stated it exactly what you responsed with...Thanks I really do appreciate the honesty!
  2. This is my luck guys... Never a dull moment...Just got back from Dumont Saturday, while riding heard a slight pop coming from the bottom end, left side. As the day progressed, so did the pop, however, only made the noise at idle. Sounded like a piston slap. Pulled the motor to see if it was hurt, nope! No damage..... BUT....wanted to check the wall clearance to rule out that option out, but as my luck has it, NO Fuggin' paperwork...as usual.... Tried to call Wiseco this morning/afternoon---NOT OPEN TODAY! Tried Wiseco's website....NO INFO...as usual.... The pistons are Wiseco forged Alluminum long rod bore 0.050mm part #316-0393. Sorry if there was some type of confusion. "Meanwhile at Dumont...The shee ripped 4 Brand new paddles down the middle" Didn't really want to get into it's full potential with that pop coming from the bottom end....
  3. Damn dude! Glad you're ok! Hang in there...You'll be back out running with the rest of the shee's soon.
  4. Guys...I need your help again........ Does anyone know what the piston to wall clearance is on Wiseco forged alluminum pistons? Had a pop noise comming from the bottom end...Sounded like a piston slap. Can't find specs anywhere....H E L P ..... THE MODS: 1. NOSS Head 2. 21cc domes 3. 5. Everyone who replied, THANKS!!! Going to Dumont to try your guys advise tomorrow. Bought a few different sets of mains, needles and pilots to take with. I will keep you all posted on what happens. Will also post up some pic's of Dumont for all you guys who haven't been there. Still open to any other advise....
  6. Having problems again! Just bought a set of NEW Keihin PJ 34mm carbs. It boggs as soon as I hit the throttle. Feels like it has a dead spot! When I let off and hit it again, it rev's fine... There are no problems with the idle, just has a bogg... ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.... THE MODS: 1. NOSS Head 2. 21cc domes 3. Wiseco Pistons bored 50 over 4. 4mm stroker crank 5. 5mm Rods 6. 7. Bigboybanshee....Thanks for responding.... Yup! checked the filter.... Clean as new.. Just swapped out carbs with a buddy. With the right adjustments and jetting, the problem no longer exisits.... Damn stock, piece of crap carbs!!! I guess my job for tonight is to find out where the problem is...Maybe I'll give that job to my hubby! So it's narrowed down to the carbs.... I thought I was going to have to go back through the motor again!! That would have been a real ass pincher ooouch
  8. Scott aka Banforlife...Thanks for responding....... Looked into that yesterday and all is good! I can't figure out what the hell the problem is!!! I think I'm just going to have to by some new carbs and say f..... it!!! Thanks for your advice.... Thinking about buying the new 35mm carbs that are out.... and 2 new air cleaners...
  9. You guys are crazy!!!
  10. From a chick's perspective...I'd rather pay for gas and oil before I buy a 4 stroke!!! Really, Who thinks of gas milage? When you own a Banshee, it's all about the throttle baby!!!!
  11. From a real chick's perspective....Some of us are not like that... You guys are obviously hanging out with the wrong kind of chicks!!! Yeah, us not so high maintenance girls like shopping, but not quite as much as riding quads, jet-ski's or hanging out at the drag strip!!!
  12. Start her off????? What are you trying to do kill her? If she hit the juice, she'd fly off.. Now...how crazy is that?
  13. From a chick's perspective, why didn't you start her out with a Banshee in the first place? My hubby did!!!!!! Now your job is to keep her interested!!!! Teach her everything about her Banshee. Don't leave anything out either!! Put her on this website and have check out all the cool stuff you guy's talk about. As far as drag racing goes...well..My hubby and I own a 68 Camaro...runs low 11's..When she's not on the quad, take her to the local drag strip and get her familliar with what is going on... That boys is from a chick's perspective!!!!
  14. VIRTUALBAT.....Thanks for responding rather quickly also... Tried that several times....live across from an open paved area of about 1 street block. Left slow until about 1/8 throttle then the rest was WOT. After the pass, at idle, still couldn't hear the cylinder fire on the left side. I've been doing this for about 4 days now...Just can't figure it out!!
