Reded,
You said "I think most people with high HP go with max load bearings on all but the outer clutch side (some even use them there). I went with a TZ on it just for extra insurance."
!) Which TZ bearing did you use where?
2) When you say max load bearings, are you talking C3 clearance? Is there a speciifc bearing # or place that these are coming from?
3) Are the Banshee outer main bearings left and right using the same inner diameter and is this 32mm?
Sorry, I'm new to Banshee cranks and trying to get up to speed.
The application is my TZ350F motor which spends a lot of time in the 10 -11k rpm band and is making 77-78 bhp at the contact patch. the existing outer mains are bullet proof, but with going to a cut down Banshee crank (trim the end to end width a touch) they go into the TZ (TZ cranks are getting fragile and hard to find).
Only problem is the original TZ outer main bearing inner dia is wrong for the Banshee outer shafts, which means we have to use Banshee mains . I don't mind spending extra money to get a good bearing to save my carcass! I just can't find any information....
I guess ultimately, a high load C3 clearance, phenolic cage ball bearing , with groove, would work fit my needs!
That should hopefully give you a little more info
TIA
Al
