Stock Spark Arrestors
brokesoftwaretester replied to brokesoftwaretester's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Are these arrestors? They are on a set of Pro Circuits. I was reading if you put a piece of stainless steel screen in there, they think they are arrestors???? Tips on this appreciated. -
I have a bike that has the baffle from the stock silencer removed. I'm wondering if I need to find some baffles before going to Glamis. I know spark arrestors are required, does removing the baffle remove the 'spark arrestor'? Thanks!

Yes, CA law I believe. A loophole in amendment 111 may be to 'design the quad for means of carrying a passenger'... I guess that means hand grips, and footpegs for your passenger, although it isn't clearly defined.

I bought a set from RMATV

I guess it wouldn't be any fun if that were the case. Seems 7 or 8 years ago I saw people everywhere riding doubles, then again a lot has probably changed since last time I was there.

Volkswagen ball joints for Aftermarket A-Arms
brokesoftwaretester replied to brokesoftwaretester's topic in Suspension
A 1978 Volkswagen Bug Type 1, Outer, Left, Tie Rod end is a perfect match. FYI for those in the future. -
Best I can tell it is a $35 fine?

I planned on having my wife ride on the back of the banshee when we go to glamis in 2 weeks, I just read that "Carrying of passengers. No operator of an all0terrain vehicle shall carry a passenger while operating on public lands. (38506 C.V.C.)". How enforced is this rule? She is 10X more dangerous to herself and others on her own bike as opposed to being on the back of mine... I didn't plan on even bringing her bike. Do you think we'll be alright? What's the fine for non-compliance? I really don't want to have to take another bike.

I need a set of inexpensive rear paddles for a blaster. If unmounted, I have a set of 9 inch wheels I could spare. I have family in Bakersfield that will be going through LA/San Diego on their way to meet me in Glamis in Jan, they can pick the tires up and save me some money, and you some hassle on shipping if you are in that vicinity. Thanks in advance!

My aftermarket a-arms use volkswagen tie rod ends for the ball joints. I don't remember which model/year will fit, does anyone know? And... no... I don't remember which brand a-arms they are, just an older +2 +1. Thanks!

I got ripped off on ebay :: again... and now am in need of a Good Clutch Side Cover. I also need some stock pipe hangers, in good shape, and a set of Rear Banshee Hubs for my blaster. Looking for 10 shipped on the hangers, 25 shipped for hubs, and 40 shipped for the side case, if that is too little, please make me an offer shipped to 80911. Heres my most recent ebay headache, i'm sure paypal will get me fifty cents or so back like they did last time. Thanks guys, Knobbies it is! I'll just tell em to ride close so they can take turns pulling each other out! I will arrive in Glamis on Jan 2nd, just getting everything ready now. Not sure where I'm gonna camp yet. Is anyone else gonna be dunin it up in glamis the week of the 2nd-6th?

I'm getting ready for a trip to Glamis, I am getting a set of paddles for the banshee, but I am bringin a 300ex and Blaster for friends to ride. They both have good knobby tires on em, I'm just wondering how well they will do in the sand, I don't want them to be hating life, but if it only slows em down a bit, then they can deal with it. What do you think?

I am tryin to remove the springs on a pair of front shocks(hot pink just ain't my style). I have the preload all the way down, one post said to 'remove the retainers'... Maybe I'm just retarded, but I can't seem to figure it out! Thanks!
