  1. I appreciate the help fellas...when I got hear before I went back to the stock airbox and fitler i had the KNs it still smoked... I think I will try the 27.5 pilot with about 340 mains. It starts on the first kick it idles fine but the more gas I give it it starts to bog kinda and smokes more I have been studying what other people are saying about being nearly at sea level and they are in the 340 ballpark on mains. As far as th port job goes its mostly polished with a little bit of porting my father inlaw is a machinist and he said he took a little off when he did it. so what do you think 340s or what.... does any on ride at sea level or close to it...lst night i was messing with it making sure it wasnt something simple that I had looked over when adjusting the idle on the left side it got stiff then i felt it snap..the freaking plastic muduleTORS thing inside broke.. so I ordered the elimination kit from TOOMEY. If it aint one thing its another. Thanks agaian
  2. I recently moved to South Georgia (200 ' above sea level) from Utah (4200' asl) wich is a great fall in elevation. I am lost with my jets and dont know if I should go up or down. Here is the scoop, in utah shee ran like a champ with T5s, Dual KN filters no box, V force reeds, WB boost bottle, pilot stock at 25, needles stock at middle clip, 270 mains. Now I have went back to stock airbox and filter due to the mud and water in GA, I have ported and polished the cylinders and replaced the pistons due to a shattered skirt. Now shee smokes like a freight train I need some guidance. I am premixing yamalube R2 semi synthetic at 40:1. What should I do, change mains ,pilots or needle size or what. Any help is greatly appreciated.
