greetings everyone, im new to the boards, and banshees in general. I have ridden 4-strokes my whole riding carrer and want to break into the 2-stroke world. However, I have heard alot of horror stories in the past about banshees, so im trying to be extra cautious when buying a preowned banshee. Im looking in the '99-'03 range and i have about $3500 to spend and can push 4000 if necessary, (i wanna keep a few extra dollars for minor bolt ons). Is there any things i should have in mind when inspecting a preowned bike? and also, should i be looking for bikes that are more or less stock, or that have a decent amount of bolt-ons. and my last ? is, how old of a bike can i get without running into problems.... Overall the main thing im looing for is reliability, im on a very fixed budget and i cant afford monthly repairs and shop costs. Thanks alot!
