Earlier this summer i have decided to start building a banshee , i was sick of the 4 stroke big bore warriror 400cc,,,, owend many 240 blasters ( 3 ) and really was always happy with 2 stroke performance . So i decided to put together a " dream " bike formyself that i would be happy with for many years to come. Everythings at the powdercoater , but i figured id start this thread now.

  4. may sound stupid but i took a hammer and smashed the screw and it got loose , was really easy ........ stressed me out for a few days trying to think of how to get it out...... when in doubt GRAB the hammer =-)
  5. buddy of myne gave me free powdercoated a arms for a banshee , but ball joints are bad , does that mean the ball joints cant be manually replaced ? or are they welded in

  7. im rading a clymer for a warrior , i dont have a banshee one and its a 30mm hex drive bolt ......... thanks everyone . this hole forum has made building a bike easier
  8. awesome , yeah i blasted it away with the air gun and noticed that things threaded into there , i guess i need to goto home depot and buy a few sockets thatll fit it, thanks guys appreciate it alot .........
  9. just got my frame in for my banshee , and i was wondering which way the bearing for the steering stem comes out.. trying to remove that last bearing in order to send the frame out to powdercoat. any help is appreciated ....... will be doing a therad on the bike start to finish.
  10. built many blasters , i prefferably like the trinity pipes, ran a 240 from trenga , there big carb witht he adapter , lonestar all around , umm endless amounts of work i forget , and then it got stolen

  12. i want to thank all you people for your support on my project and also answering my newbie questions Cheers buddy... i also have been doin the ebay parts deals and getting parts for cheap as i can . i have another newbie question, i have alota warrior modifications for my carrier . the question is : Do warrior carriers differ from banshee carriers ? i want to use my warrior carrier because its chromed with a extended chrome axel . also do shock linkages differ ? i heard they were the same ....... i know the shocks are differnt tho .   13. cool you just cleared everything up for me 8 over it is ! =-) i am doing the bike head to toe decked out and will keep you all posted if intrested currently tryint to part out my 450 big bore warrior and buying banshee parts at the same time =-)
  14. im lookin on this frame one bay and i see that i think its bent here where i pointed , can you clear that out for me ....... The salesperson says no dents or re paired or bent . http://www.miamiatv.com/paintballAngel/frame.JPG
  15. i weigh 140 lbs , the bike is going to be for mainly street drag / cruising on the trails ( soft compacted dirt ) . going to be running two sets of tires one street tires and one mud sharks that are worn down big time ( depending no where imt aking the bike ) ........ The motor i have is a 30 over ported n polished drag port , 2 to 1 carb vforce reeds , timing plate , str8 cut gears . tranny override shift mod , rev box , cpi drags uhmm probly something else im forgetting . However as soon as i finish the bike im buying the chettah top end kit . thats defintly planned in my shee . so now im debating from a +6 to + 8... you cant get your bike to lift up with a 6 over ? and your running a cub ?

I currently am building a banshee from scratch , fully decked out every part =-) .. lol and well im workin on ordering a swing arm and my question is ...... + 6 + 8 or + 10 ....... i want the bike to stay on the ground for drags . however i still want to be able to have some handling and not feel like im driving a limo . would a + 8 keep me down ? or is the + 10 just the way to go .
