  2. I live in Hutch now but used to live in Hays. I think Waynoka is still going to be closer to you than Syracuse, it's clear out west. Used to be a riding area along the river between Great Bend and Radium, not sure if it's still open or not. I still have a buddy in Hays that rides Honda's.

Cool anytime you want to ride let me know............I just raced my first Motocross race in Kansas (first one in over 10 years).....it was way ot in Norton Motocross park!.......I got 2nd overall........I was happy....

  3. Kawi has ALWAYS been my choice of bikes, The Tecate 3 was kick ass as too the Tecate 4! I had raced KX 80's big wheel and 125's when I was younger, and Ron lachean (owner of Maxima racing oil) was always one of my favorite riders of all time. and the KX 450f is a beauty specially the 2007 (my next bike)........in my opinion I would ride a KAWI any day of the week........but nothing is like the speed of my banshee

  4. Hey there Elisha...I had a GREAT TIME too!! Thanks for the invite. I got a flat on one of my haulers on Sunday...thats why I didn't take my Banshee out on that last Sunday ride...I'm glad I brought my YZ250!!

Just to bring everyone up to speed, I told Elisha about a bitchin' swimming hole in San Diego while we were out riding at Gordon's that is just outside of Ramona and thought I'd post the info for anyone else that wanted to go over the summer. Festive atmosphere, some shade, kid friendly...even for toddlers, 3 different height cliffs to jump from into an awesome waterfall fed "punchbowl" that has been carved out of solid granite rock. Go once and you will go again!!

DO NOT BRING GLASS!!! Bring plenty of beer though...

So here are the Google Earth Coodinates for Black Canyon:

    33*07'51.15N

    116*47'47.92W

This coodinate puts you on the small rock in the swimming hole. You have a good view if you check it from 2200'.

It is an easy drive in a car or truck.

    Take the 67 through Ramona

Left on Magnolia...it will turn into Black Mountain Road and into a dirt road.

You will go up, over, then waay down the mountain ridge to the stream.

Left at the bridge. Follow the road to the Left...over the bridge.

The road narrows and has a bit of asphalt and a few blind corners (use your horn) and the punchbowl will be on your Left side...maybe 1/2-3/4 mi from the bridge

Continue forward a bit (maybe 100 yards), you will see where the road widens...park there.

Walk back until you see the bowl, it doesn't really matter which trail you take...they all lead to the same place!!

As long as you stay on the main road you will get there easily. Any of the side roads you see on Goggle Earth are obvious secondary roads so you won't have a problem.

When you leave, an easier way to leave...

As soon as you cross the bridge, go Left.

Right at the end...stay on this road (Sutherland Dam Lake Rd) until it runs into 67.

R on 67 back to SanD.

There are trash cans where you parked so >>PLEASE<<haul out your trash!! :thanks:

    Have Fun!!

    Jay.

damn I never knew that was out there!........my dog would love that place.........My dog and I will deff hit that when it gets hot........peace

  5. The show was pretty lame. It's nice too see Dunes on TV, but I just assume NO ONE knows about Glamis. Too many jackoffs out there already. Now theres going to be even more. They're also going to think it's cool to roost on people and burn pallets.

I hear you......I didnt like the whole Pallet burn thing either

  6. "Here we are at Osborne Hill, I've been coming out here since the 80's." What a dumbass! Atleast learn the name of the hill. The quads were lame, the rails were hooked up though.

And your answer to this, it is called osborn hill (osborn Overlook)............look at the history of Glamis on why they now call it Oldsmobile..........Whos is the Dumbass ? Ricky Johnson?

  7. You guys might all think it was lame, but Have respect for Ricky Johnson, Did any of you people even know who he is before his name came up at the bottom of the show! It pisses me off when you have all these shit talkers about all the knowledge they have on there bikes, and when it comes down to it you guys dont even know who Ricky Johnson is. Or even Ron Lechien, Brock Glover, Marty Smith, I could go on. Ive seen some of you fools ride that talk about all of your (banshee repair mods forum) and I aint impressed on you abilities. If I was a newbie reading all your articals, I would think your a bunch of professionals  Does anybody Know who Ricky Johnsons nephew is?.......Hint Hint....he races for LOWES............dont bash the comentator

  8. By all means im not an expert on cubbys, cause they seam to be pretty straight formward!, but I do know thatmy stock cylindes beat a cub up china wall. I not saying that my bike is stock, im just saying that my cylinders are stock, and my motor was built well by a no name guy here in San Diego. Ive also been riding for almost 33 years and that too makes a big difference, and I have laid off the throttle big time as I get older. so to answer your ? Just give it more throttle with a well built motor, But if $$$ is no option get the cub
