  1. So, i've finally grown enough nuts to really try long wheelies. But i've noticed that I end up pissing gas out of the overflows on my carbs. Is this normal or is something a little off? I've had my shee for 7 years and I now finally try some showing off. Lol and these bikes are quite a bit scarier to wheelie than my bros ds 450.
  2. I filled her up with gear saver and did just about everything you guys said. It started fine and ran for about 10 seconds again...then made the same noise and started trying to engage in neutral. I shut it off right away cause I'm a pussy. But then decided to grow some nuts and just let it idle. I let it run for a couple minutes with the noise and it got a little worse, then completely stopped. Man, I'm so stoked that I'm not a complete fuck up. Thanks everybody for the advice.
  3. And yes, everything was cleaned in a parts cleaner prior to reassembly. I put oil in the trans, should I let it run for a bit even if its making a little noise to see if it will lube up? Or could I cause more severe damage?
  4. I'll try it after work. I've been so worried about it all day, I can barely function. Lol...but I guess I deserve it.
  5. So, yesterday, I finally get my engine back together after a new crank and pistons. And I got so excited to start it, plus I was drinking, I fired it up with no trans oil in the crank case. It ran sweet until it started making a weird noise and wanting to engage in neutral. The bike only ran for literally 10 seconds before I realized how damn stupid I am and shut her down. Can 10 seconds running in neutral dry fry bearings?
  6. So, I've had quite a few problems with my 03 shee. I changed all my top end gaskets recently and eliminated the TORS. Still, I have the one original problem. For some reason, the bike runs alright while at idle (minus the misfiring left cylinder), but the bigger problem I have is the overrevving when I'm not even touching the throttle. Its almost as if my slides are sticking, but they aren't because I'll leave it at idle and out of no where she slowly revs up to WOT. I shut it off, start it back up without touching my throttle and its back to normal. My carbs are fine, I had them looked at by someone who knows a lot more than me. I don't really know too much about Banshee's so all help and suggestions would be appreciated. What should I check? Thanks dudes.
