I have T5's at present , but the front ( main part ) is self colur , painted black - which looks poor , rear silencer looks polished / chromed. I have been offered a set of FMF "Gnarlys ( main fornt part only ) and wondered if the Toomey end silencers would firstly fit and secondly would there be any diverse affects to the performance. A speedy reply would be appreciated as i dont have long to decide. Many thanks Mark

I have had exactly the same thing happen to mine as mentioned. Quad was running hot , shooting water out . By the time i worked out the cause it was too late , seized it ! Now having a rebore and new pistons etc .- weisco pro lights Thought i'd check the impeller before rebuilding it and same problem - the plastic drive gear had melted and wasnt turning the impeller . I reckon this happened to the previous owner and he seized it , then just chucked it back together and sold it on, rather than rebuilding it and solving the original cause of the problem . Quick question , is there an uprated drive gear you can use or are you stuck with the plastic one. This would be a good subject to do a write up on and make it a sticky as there seems to be a lot of owners having these problems. Good luck peeps Mark

New rad cap fitted by myself. There is stil a coolant bottle underneath the seat , should this be filled with coolant to the required ammount. I ask as when it was , it spat most of it out from a front overflow hose , but now it has done that , the level is still at the top of the rad , just underneth the cap when u take it off. So , whats next Cheers for the help & comments so far .

Isnt anyone going to comment on this , thought you lot would of been more helpfull to be honest.

Hiya , I have recently purchased an 01 Shee and after a few minutes of riding a small amount of water is ejected from one of the front hoses close to the bars. I assume its an overflow pipe , as i havnt actually been able to locate or see where its coming from , only the fact that the tank , and tops of my legs get splashed ocasionally with hot water. Its not all the time and in a days riding may happen 2 or 3 times maybe. Any ideas what this is , head gasket related ? cheers in advance for any information regarding this. Mark ( uk )
