Cleaning out the shed and ran across a few things. 1. Boost bottle $15 shipped 2. Stock carbs with throttle cable $40 shipped 3. rear shock. needs a new shaft $25 4. stock airbox with high flow plate. no lid $25 shipped. I will post more as im cleaning. Thats all for now.

Well it has had a jet kit installed, but i dont know the specifics. i just know that it ran pretty god about 9 months ago when the rod bearings went out. I am getting spark, all the time. I dont know if its a strong enough spark. i am going to check into that tomorrow. The choke tube, i made my own out of a vaccuum hose since i didnt get one when i got the quad. so that is in place. The fuel flows freely and is 105 Octane mixed. i got the fuel from a friend that ran it in his shee a few weeks ago so the mix is fine. I am going to follow the plug/jet guide i found to make sure i have the correct plugs, jets, heat range, and screws all set correctly. i will report back if that all doesnt work.

Got a 01 shee in pieces a few months ago. Guy I got it from said that the crank needed to be replaced. So I rebuilt the entire engine. Mods that it had when I got it was pipes, reeds, jet kit, filter, 30 over bore, and some special idle screws. TORS and the ebrake were eliminated. Last weekend I finally got the thing running. Only problem was that the idle wasnt set yet. I had to put my thumb a lil on the throttle and it would stay running just fine. I ran it for about 5-10 min then my friend came over and we went to lunch. Came back and it hasnt ran since. I have taken the carbs apart twice to make sure they arent clogged. I have checked for spark. It starts only for a couple of seconds then dies SOMETIMES. I am so tired of this. I just want it to run so I can finally go play with it. There is a shop down the street, he says he will fix it for $60 an hour but i figure ive already spent so much time on it, that i would just like to finish it myself. any ideas?? It doenst start and half the time when it does fire, it back fires.

Ok I bought an 01 shee in a few pieces. I picked up the necessary parts to rebuild it from this site and ebay..and the dealer(rip-offs). Now when I try and start it, I get no spark. I tested the coil according to the haynes manual(it was confusing) and it failed so I bought a new one from the dealer. still no spark. So I got to thinkin about a ground wire issue. I remember, there are no ground wires that I can see. So, where are they? seems like I should probably make one or so to make sure Just wanna know where does it go. Like from where to where? Also, if I put a voltmeter on the wires that go on the coil terminals, I get voltage whenever I kick it over. So I think that everything is basically eliminated except the ground. Thanks

90387-I 27G8-00 Shock Collar(4) the little bushings that go in the shock as a bushing or something. 90109-I 02A6-00 Lower Rear Shock Bolt 90185-I 0120-00 NUT,SELF-LOCKING (2) for the rear shock 2GU-14771-00-00 Muffler Stay(the little thing that the muffler mounts up to on the front of the quad. Clutch Lever- Stock or AM, doesnt matter as long as its complete. Coupling Collar for the exhaust. prefer the shiny AM ones.

i got a spare layin around. its just stock. is the basket the thing that all of the clutch pieces slide into? the outer one? cuz i have one of those. I need some parts, just little stuff, pm me and we can maybe just trade.

I think he was just offering his opinion as to how much it is worth. if you browse around on here, you see Banshee's with many more mods going for a lower price. I agree $2000 is too low of a price, but 5500 is way high.

How about the rear shock? Are you selling that? if so how much? I am in tucson, aZ. zip 85705.

Thanks for the info. What about registration or titles? I heard that titles didnt come with them until like 1993. also vin numbers. Can you tell the age of the engine or frame from them? I just got a banshee from my neighbor so this is all new to me. Also i ordered the haynes manual for the banshee. are they worth it? it hasnt come in yet and i havent paid for it so i was wondering if they were worth it.

What are the differences between the banshees through the years? My friend was lookin and the ads for used ones said something like a frame and b frame and such. what does that mean? Can you take a motor from 03 and put it in a frame from 92? also how can you tell the age from the frame/ engine serial numbers?
