Yeah, I have a cheap multimeter that can read ohms. If I need something better, I could get it from a friend.

I've got a 98 banshee with no spark. I was riding a sand bowl and it was pulling hard, and all of a sudden it lost power and died (felt almost like running out of gas). I suspect a bad stator, but I dont know how to test it to be sure. I'm not interested in just replacing parts until it runs. Anybody have any info I can use to diagnose this problem?
