Hi I am new to the form and have an 01 that is bone stock. First I met a guy who had some of the same mods I want to do. T5's and a jet kit and open the box up, although he had added a cool head with larger domes. He stated that if I did not put on the cool head it would turn my pipes blue is this the case or is it bs? Also I found a kit of T5's with silencers and toomey jet kit and a K&n filter with box vents for roughly $600.00 is there any better deals out there that anyone can recommend. I had an 89 years ago and put the jet kit and air filter and fmf fatties on and don't remember the pipes changing color due to getting hot. I searched for this but did not find anything on it.
