thanks alot guys, i really apreciate it. I was probably gonna split it anyways, better safe than screwed, and thanks for pointing that out about the tranny, i wasn't thinking clearly and should have known that .

I have removed the head and the cylinders and found that my left piston is screwed, the piston rings are no wear to be found and the head is dented to crap, should i pull the bottom end apart or should i be safe, i drained the oil and didn't find any chunks. thanks for any input.
