im having some problems jetting my shee i have a stock motor t5's and kandN filter with outerwears and not filterbox top. what are my jetting options

I do have spark to both sides if you read carefully I explained that when I said I switched the spark plugs and put them in the different cylinders and then I switched the coil wires going to each plug both coils caps have spark

how do I perform a leakdown test?

I have played with the idle screw and nothing happened and today when I adjusted the slider the needle looked fine. im not getting spark to my left cylinder at all. the left cylinder is not heating up the fuel that is getting into it is not burning up and is being spit out of my tailpipe. i just bought toomey pipes and I want to get this problem solved before I put them on my bike. Its getting really frustrating could the piston be getting stuck and not moving fuel into the chamber therefore no combustion in the cylinder? that is the only thing I can think of. I want to try the easiest thing before I take my head off

I will be running t5's and a kandn airfilter with outwears on filter and box cover. most of my riding will be at the dunes in pismo in ca what size jets should I go with

ok so I adjusted the sliders they were just a little off but it still did not fix my problem. im running out of ideas

I bought a coil from you and no I bought a new coil I thought the coil that I bought from you was bad but it wasnt I bought a new one thinking it was and put it on my bike and the spark problem I was having before I bought that from you was due to a bad ground. You mention I bought a head from you but I bought the coil not the head. But back to the problem could it be a valve problem ?

I have not taken the motor apart I have not done anything to it its a 03' the compression is pretty good on both sides I just did a compression check and its in the low 120's on both so its good. The left cylinder for some reason is not getting any spark what so ever I didnt buy your stock head the motor I bought came complete. its weird it is starting up on the first kick everytime. the left cylinder is just not firing

I do not have TORS and I am getting fire. I took out both spark plugs and the side the pipes are not warming up the spark plug looked brand new. There is a combustion problem or something I swithed plugs and still its not working on the left side so I switched the coil over to the other plug and still nothing

ok so I took out the spark plugs and the left plug is not getting spark or something it looks brand new what is this?

When I start up my shee the right side pipes get warm like usual but my left side is cold as can be. i need help. its spitting out oil out of the tail pipe as well in need of urgent help

It was the cdi. I bought a new rev box before you guys said anything to me about them being a piece. but im gonna sell them. and buy a dyna cdi. eventually I will be doing mods to my bike so I figure i might as well just pick it up now that i have the money. but I want to thank you guys for helping me getting this thing going. its starting up on the first and second kick everytime now. thanks guys

What does the oil coming out of one pipe mean? is that caused by the cdi as well?

What do banshee plugs need to be gapped at? how do I check the compression. the only mods I have are I have a kandn airfilter with outerwears a pro design ez flow adapter and outwears airbox cover and a high rev cdi box. I started her up today and noticed there is black oil coming from the back of the right pipe

I have installed new plugs a new ignition coil the carbs are pretty clean so I dont think it would be getting clogged up. could be poor spark but not sure im using a twist throttle if that helps at all

I have been building my banshee for a while now and today i finally got it to kick over and started up. But it takes a good amount of kicks to get it over. Is there anything I can do to helf this problem such as tuning the carbs or anything like that and if so please give me some instruction on how to go about doing so. Any help will be great

I am building a shee from the ground up and for some reason I cant get spark. I used a ohmmeter last night to test some of the electronics everything was fine except for the coil. But I bought a new coil from a local yamaha dealership and there was nothing I also bought a coil from a guy off of here and that didnt work either, when I tested the primary and nothing I tested the secondary and it read normal. I tested as the clymers book advised. Im starting to get frustrated with this damn thing. If anyone has any pointers please let me know.

I am looking for a set of stock carbs I will be using a tors elemination kit with them and radiator mounts that are in pretty good condition with mounting hardware

I have a bunch of extra parts laying around that I want to make a little money off of. I have a Kand N air filter in good shape. I have radiator hoses in great shape. I have a rear brake cable, a clutch lever, airbox lid. And a brand new ricky stator flywheel and stator. and a stator cover in good shape.

If anyone out there has a 2000 or new stock banshee motor out there I am looking for something that is in great shape nothing with broken or cracked cases from the chain. I need something that I can just bolt up and be on my way. If anyone has something that could interest me please let me know and give me the case numbers so I can run them before paying. last october I had a bad experience and bought a motor without case numbers and now the cops have had my bike for the last 7 months so im just gonna start fresh with my shee build.
