  1. I am going to add an adjustable timing plate to my motor. Where is a good place to start with the timing?? Before tdc or after tdc?? I want to get as much as I can from the motor. any help will be appreciated.
  2. I went to a 55 pilot and it seemed to work out a bit better, I got the air screw in to 3/4 to 1 turn out and it seems to like that the best. I also went up to a 195 main to see if that did anything, I really couldn't tell any difference with the acception of the plug turning darker faster. I also ordered a eek from carbparts.com. it should be here this week sometime. do these things have rev. limiters on them built into the cdi box???
  3. where do I find the conversion kits at??????? I have looked on the net with no luck
  4. I ordered an eek and a 48 pilot, if that don't cure the dead spot, I will have to deal with it I guess
  5. I am looking for any advise on aftermarket shocks for my shee. It's an 88 with j-arms and stock swingarm. there are so many different shocks on the market I really dont know what is worth the money and what is not. can someone lead me in the right direction?? john [email protected]
  6. I am going to call carbparts.com today and order some different jets and needles. thanks john
  7. I can't even read the letters on the needle now, how do I know which one to get??
  8. I am going to try a 50 with 1.5 to 2 turns out on the air screw. thats where it acts the best, but I just dont want to go to lean
  9. I mix the 110 octane half and half, gas here sucks.
  10. I have a trinity two to one on my banshee, and I am having trouble getting rid of the hesitation right above idle. I have a Noss head with 21cc domes, motofast pipe and silencer, I put a k&n filter in the airbox, and modified the lid with a filter skin kit so it could really breath. Right now I am running a 190 main, 55 pikot, and clip on the third notch of the needle. Trinity tech. advised to go to a bigger jet since I was running a 50 with the air screw at around 1 - 1.5 turns out, maybe even 2 and it was less but still there. they said I was to lean. the richer I got the worse it got. I am running 110 oct. fuel with klotz mix. I am at my wits end with this damn carb. I need help, and advise. please email me with some ideas. carb is a 35 pkw. [email protected] john
