so it still runs right? what made you pull the valve cover off? bearing noise or did it just quit running? anything ever been done to it? new top end? piston? rings? cam chain? how did the top of the valves look? were they mushroomed at all?

im just north of grand rapids, about an hour, reed city, what caused the cam to go bad?

can you send pics of the banshee blue plastics? have any paddle tires for a banshee, warrior or something with that bolt pattern? what year is the warrior? im looking for parts for that too...can you send pics of that as well...im in michigan..thanks, Rodney

i have a very nice and well kept 1993 honda cr 125 dirt bike, 5 hours on complete top and bottom rebuild, all paperwork, new fmf fatty pipe, new fmf turbine core 2 spark arrestor silencer, boysen power reeds, new chain and sprockets, new fork seals, bike runs, looks, and rides like new! bike is worth $1,300 , will sell for $1,000 or trade for banshee rear rims and paddles, full set of front and rear blue stock fenders, foot guards with heal guards.....send me an offer...im trying to post pics of it..thanks

i ride in michigan at silver lake sand dunes, and if they even "suspect" too many decibles or no spark arrestor, they put the meter to ya before you even enter...and guess what, if you dont pass their test, may as well go home...it sux..but what pisses me off is there are all the god damned sand rails built all to hell and louder than hell, and built to hell trucks that you know would never pass the decible level....what the hell are we polluting with noise with nothing but acres of sand and what the hell do we need a spark arrestor for? since when did sand and water become flamable??? oh well.....was just letting you guys know before you head up there and not able to ride...

thats what i was gonna buy was the turbine core 2's, until i found out that they arent even decible legal.. only ones from fmf that meet the DNR noise restrictions are the turbine core 2 Q's..i didnt want to have to get back up to the dunes and get rejected for more BS...thats why the stockers went back on...

the DNR have been cracking down on numerous people "im one of em" for loud pipes and no spark arrestors...instead of spending $400 on aftermarket silencers, keep your stock banshee silencers.. they slide right into fmf fatty pipes and a couple other aftermarket pipes..all you have to do is make up 4 hangers out of flat stock steel to mount your original silencers...and walla! you are legal for no hassles from the rescue rangers...dont forget to repack your silencers! yeah, i know the stock ones look like hell and hold back some power, but hell, who has $400 to throw away on forest approved silencers unless you ride every day? im heading up to silver lake this friday at noon for the weekend...hope to see a few of you guys and gals up there...Rodney

the cr 125 runs great! nice little bike...i wanted to keep it for my son but he is used to 250's, so i have that up for sale..the seat on the katana comes off easy, the ignition key goes in a spot on the left hand side of the bike just under the seat in the side panel, turn the key to the right and lift up the seat..i forgot to tell you the factory tool kit is still under the seat too...have a good one
