  1. Hi all, I have a 2001 banshee with fattys, pcII, noss head 21cc domes, v-force 3 reeds, pro design air box adapter w' foam filter, lid on, 280 mains, 25 pilot, stock needle stock position. Went riding this weekend in a lot of mud and water but the bike ran great except for a slight throttle sticking towards the end of the trip. About halfway through the trip I pulled the plugs to give them a look over (I have to tinker, my buddies hate it) clutch side plug looked perfect, nice and brown but the stator side plug looked like it had grown black fuzz. This stuff was hard as a rock; I had to scrape to get it to come off. So I replaced both plugs and continued to ride bike, still running great. Got home pulled the plugs and the same thing stator side plug starting to grow black fuzz. What is the deal? Is it water getting into the cylinder? My buddy has a Blaster that does the same thing when he rides it in the wet. Water getting in through the choke pull knob? Any body else have any experience with this? Thanks
  2. I have a 01 banshee with the following mods: Noss Head 21cc domes FMF fattys PC II's Pro design Pro flow with foam filter V-force 3 reed cage Stock air box with lid on snorkel removed My current jetting is 280 mains, dynojet needle on second clip from blunt end, stock pilots 1.5 turns out on the air screw, approx 900 ft elevation. My question is doesn't the needle seem a little lean? I had the clip in the third position and the bike seemed sluggish in the mid range and the plug was black. The bike seems to run better in the mid range with the clip in the second position, but it now has a bad bog right off of idle. I did a half throttle plug chop and the plug looked great? Should I switch back to the third clip or what? The bike did not run as good in the mid range but it also did not have the low end bog.
