Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhh This clutch is TIGHT you can feel the difference. It sure made my bike pull stronger. Super impressed with the clutch and especially Jeffs service. The Spring Shift Mod works so good that i shift into neutral for fun now By the way Jeff With the lever pulled in my bike rolls super smooth so the problem went away after a long hard ride.

Finally fixed my problem thanks to Jeff. I would have never messed with the kickstarter if he didnt suggest looking at the spring behind the kickstart gear. The spring was not in that hole in the crank case so the spring and stop lever would spin around. Its all good to go now i just gota ride. I can roll the bike but its a little hard. It tugs alot and it wont roll down my driveway with the lever pressed in. Tomm. i will ride and maybe it can break in. Or i will try my stock perch and lever

I discovered litle black particles in the coolant resevoir. So i think my water impeller may be bad. Im gonig to take a look. How do you know if its toast

Recently i installed an aftermarket clutch kit. When i run the bike it makes an unusual noise like something spinnig is hitting. I did remove the fiber cushion rings. Any suggestions? Im lost? I reopened the clutch cover and everything seemed right

with all possible slack the clutch arm aligns with the crankcase. I will readjust it. But when i had the cover on and everything ready the bike made a noise like a drill like it was hitting. It did have to push in the clutch cover prety hard to get it in. Right now im lost and since all else was done right i believe it could be the water impeller but i never touched it.

I reopened the clutch cover and everything was installed right. Is there suppose to be a o ring behin the clutch basket. In my clymers it shows one but i cant find it. Anything i should look for?

yea i got both washers on and i followed all of the clymers instructions. Could it be the water impellerhitting some plastic. if i have to remove my clutch cover can i reuse the oil and coolant that i have to remove.

I installed my clutch and when i run the bike it makes this noise that sounds kinda like a drill. Is this normal? Also when i press the clutch lever in gear it feels like its still engaged and its hard to push the bike

ok good cuz those barnett heavy duty springs were kinda hard to put on. Now i just need to adjust my clutch and install cover and refill oil and coolant

Alright, i got my inner hub fast thanks to jeff and i installed it. Now im just wondering you know how the stock steels have tabs that your suppose to change by 60 degrees each time. Is there any special manner in installing the F.A.S.T steels? do i just do fiber,steel,fiber and so on.. Thanks in advance ill be riding by tommorrow for sure cant wait

Hey I feel like crap i messed up on one of my projects cuz i was cheap. I had everything going smoothly installing my F.A.S.T cltuch kit. BUT then i tried to remove the inner clutch hub and basket to do the spring shift mod. Problem was i wasnt using a Grabbit tool. Lesson learned I broke one of the things where you thread in the screw on the inner hub. By the way my basket and all were fine. Is there any way i could fix this or still run the hub? Maybe i could use a really long screw? Those inner clutch hubs are like 250 dollars. Anyone know were i can get one cheaper if i cant be fixed I heard Yamaha has em for 26 dollars I need to ride..............................

Is there any way you can remove the parking brake mechanism without having to buy a block off plate

My TORS is still installed what is the limit plug? If u remove the parking brake do you need a block off plate

Ive read some other post, but im still confused so I prefer be safe. Im removing the parking brake and stock perch so i can replace it with an EZpull. There is a wire for the parking brake in the stock perch. Do i unplug it? Thanks

The reason you lose coolant is because the coolant gravity feeds out of the resevoir into the overflow and spills. Its very annyoing and adds up. Its not because its hot. Ive checked it out before when u go screaming up a hill or jump it will drip. I had the same problem when my bike was stock. Move the resevoir to the front and ull never have to refill ur collant. I just ordered the F.A.S.T clutch kit and perch lever. Cant wait till it arrives. I think im gonig to go with the 6 heavy duty springs even though i just got bolt ons. If u were to do a 3/3 on springs were would you get 3 stock springs. Any poniters from those who already have installed the clutch

how do u know if the inner/outer hubs and basket are wasted. I got an 03 that i bought new so im guessing they might be alright. and i am getting 3stock and 3 hd springs

Im not sure if i need a new clutch. When i drag racei rev my bike in second and it moves. My bike is an 03 do i need new springs or a clutch What do u guys think? Im thinking of the F.A.S.T clutch kit. What is the difficulty in installing a clutch? I have a clymers. Any apecial tools? thanks.

When my banshee was stock i raced alot of ppl. All i had was shredders and they make a difference. Start out in second and rev it high enough where it doesnt bog. On hard packed dirt i beat a 400 ex, and raptor from begginig to end I raced a piped raptor with a rider at least 70 pounds heavier and we shared wins I raced a stock YFZ and it beat me from begging to end by about 1 bike lenghts this was on a 300 ft drag Just practice

i floored the yfz in 1st gear on pavement and it didnt pop up its a nice bike

If i went to a 12/41 would i need to buy a new chain? how would i tighten it?

I will try the 12/41 combo. Right now i currently have shredders as they are a big improvement from stock they still spin out. thanks for the help
