  1. Those of you that tinkered with your front shocks what rate are you using and what type of ridind do you do. I weight 170lbs and am looking for a spring that will provide a plush ride for trails.I am putting different shocks on but need to find some springs and need to know what spring rate to go for. Thanks Mike
  2. 1 Question what is k1 and k2 stand for? Thanks for the info. mike
  3. I will be a little more clearer, this time. I have a set of fox shocks with compression adjustable reservoirs from a snowmobile that I am going to be putting on my banshee. However I dont have any springs for them. I am able to rebuild/ revalve them myself I have all the tools and nitrogen. They will have to be valved alot softer because a sled weights way more than the front of my banshee but that is not the problem. The problem is where do I find springs for fox shocks? I looked just about everywhere with no luck even fox factory, they just sent me a bunch of stickers. thanks Mike
  4. I need the stock spring rates of the front shocks. I am putting fox shocks on the front and need to know what rate to get. I just trail ride and am looking for a plush ride. Also where can I fing an assortment of springs to fit fox shocks? Thanks Mike
  5. I have been looking for a week with no luck. I have a set of fox clicker shocks I want to install on the front of my shee but cant find any springs. The shocks are off of a snowmobile so I will have to valve them softer.I would also need softer springs. Does anyone know what spring rate the stock banshee springs are? And what rate should I be looking for?I do mostly trail riding so looking for a plush ride.I contacted fox factory and told them my situation and they sent me usless brochures and a bunch of cool fox stickers. Where to find these springs.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike
  6. My mods are as follows. ported ,slightly smaller cool head domes, Boyesen reeds,30mm flat slide mikunis, Paul turner midrange pipes. I have the adjustable timing plate and was wondering if I should retard it or advance it and how much? I do mostly woods riding. Thanks Mike
  7. I have a question about tires. I have a set of holeshot front tires mounted on itp rims and the darn tires have a hop to them. It sucks when going 70 down the road the way it shakes. Is there a fix to this problem. The rims are true just the tires are mounted wrong. Is it fixable? thanks Mike

    fox shocks

Has anyone ever tried putting some fox shocks on the front of their banshee before. Im thinking of trying a set of snowmobile shocks with softer valving and shortened with limiting spacers to control over extension. Any thoughts. Mike
  9. I too am having no spark problems. I bought this banshee from a friend and he said the stator was bad. I tested it and came up with the following: Ignition coil =good, Pickup Coil=good, Lighting coil = Bad. Would a bad lighting coil = no spark, or is there other problems going on. I do need a plate because one of the Pickup coil moumts is broke and there is more than .020" gap there. I just wanted to hear it run before I bought one. I will test the primary and secondary coil on sunday. Not much time to tinker because of work. Thanks Mike
