  2. Time to pay the chromer! Hiper Tech3 Rears with Kenda Claws, $275 + $25 shipping. I am selling them for what I bought them for. Never mounted, I decided to buy new ones instead. They don't make this style anymore with the integrated hubs. I'm guessing the machining costs were too high? Dunno.

Probably not good duner rims, the beadlocks are scratched, the hardware is dirty and stained, etc. Good deal for a woods bike though. I'd rate them a 6/10 or so.

    These are an 8" rim

  3. I just got done doing Eric's (Diskoe*1) Rear works. I've been doing shocks for the past 6 years. Started out building custom shocks for Bilstein, then built shocks for Off Road Warehouse in San Diego. I do work out of my house, so I charge much less than those guys. I guarantee my work also. I charge $65 for a rebuild/revalve per shock plus parts. Free shipping back, and I polish shocks before I send them back. Send a PM to Eric and I'm sure he'll vouch for my work. I have done 1000's of rebuilds/revalves on everything from Bicycle Fox shocks, to Bilstein Blackhawks.

Dude, yer gonna be getting a set of shocks from me soon.

  4. I wanted a duramax when I bought mine, but just didn't have the coin to get one with lower miles on it, so I got a 7.3 powerstroke. The fords are so damn nice with how much room in your cab you have, and the 7.3's are very good motors. Might not have the power of a cummins, but all things considered, it's probably the best compromise between power/reliability/comfort/value.

  5. I'd try to find a reputable local builder if possible. All of the people mentioned can do good work, and Redline has built 3 motors for me, and several more for my friends. But if I lived somewhere else, I know I'd look for someone close first and then consider the extra cost and time shipping my stuff around the country. Just shipping a motor will probably run upward of $200 and an additional 2 weeks of waiting round trip.
