  1. Nice, i think i will order mine in chrome. Thanks for the imput guys. Can't wait to order them. I have a feeling i wont be disappointed with my decision. Jeff
  2. I was going to get a set of toomey t-5's for my stock bike, then i was convinced on CPI's. But now it looks like I am going with the Rocket pipes. Has anyone ran them and compared them to stock pipes on a stock bike or compared them to T-5's on a stock bike? My main question is the chrome quality of the rocket pipes. Should i order them in chrome or should i order them bare and get a chrome shop to dip them? Jeff
  3. I was told that the inframes would fit without trimming. Do you know that i have to cut the fenders for a fact?? Jeff
  4. Just wondering if they have websites. Also, whiich CPI's are the best?? I dont want to cut my fenders. I will be running stock pistons and port with reeds, trinity K&N intake, NOSS head with 21cc domes for now, and dynatek CDI to bump up the timing. Also, can anyone compare T-5's, CPI's and Shearer???
  5. Cool, where should i buy the CPI's??? Also, i have heard some thing about Shearer pipes, if that is spelled correctly??? You guys know anything about them?
  6. Cool, i think i will get the toomeys for now. I don't feel like cutting the fenders on my new bike.
  7. I have done a little searching and i plan on doing some mods all at one time. I plan on getting the NOSS head with 21cc domes (i'm at sea leve and want pump gas), Dyna CDI, Trinity K&N intake with no lid, some unknown reeds, pro design billet water pump impeller, aftermarket radiator, but i am unsure about which pipe to get. I am leaning towards the rockets, but i also like the T-5's based on what everyone's opinion. Will the Rockets fit the stock fenders, or do they have to be cut??? Someone help me out. Jeff
  8. I own both a banshee ( bone stock) and an 05 TRX450R. The honda has a full yoshi exhaust, hot cams stage 2 camshaft, air box lid cut in half with, pro design intake. I can tell you that the honda is no joke. As of now, the Honda will destroy a lot of shees, but when i start to mod the shee heavily, i think it will take the honda no problem. The one thing i love about my honda is torque. Never half to downshift for power. But it lacks in topend where the banshee shines.
  9. Do the reed stops hinder performance? What is the purpose of the stops??
  10. I have been searching about which reeds i should acquire. Some say vforce 2 and some say 3? What exactly is the performance diffence? Is one more responsive than the other? Does one provide more top end ? ? i am new to 2 strokes, so the purpose of the reed is foreign to me. Also, at what point in my performance upgrades order should they be installed? My shee is stock. Jeff

  12. Thanks guys, i appreciate all the suggestions. I will dp further searching before i buy anything. Which reeds would you suggest with the whole cage assembly? Vforce 3 or 2, or something else? I will definitely consider the BHG premium membership as well. One other thing (I know i am just full of questions). Have any of you lowered your temps by adding water wetter??/ On my TRX450r, it lowered temps better than Engine ice. Jeff
  13. I ride in trails in florida that include both high speed riding and some semi tight trails. I also am goiing to drag race at the track ( paved). So which pipe would you suggest with the NOSS head running pump gas (21 or 20 cc domes) and stock pistons??? Jeff
  14. Thanks guys, i appreciate the info and the welcome. I look forwad to posting here quite often. As far as the type of riding, I do everything, but the bike will mainly be for trail riding/ drag racing both on dirt and paved track. What pipes would you guys reccommend, the T5 or T6??? I know it has a lot to do with future mods, but i plan on keeping stock pistons for a while and probably change the head in the near future. I plan on keeping the suspension stock for a while as well. Jeff
  15. Well I have owned my TRX450R for a while and wanted to add a two stroke to the line up since i have never owned one. I saw other Banshees on the trails and i had to have one. Last night i purchased a 2005 Black Limited edition shee, but i know nothing about modifications for two strokes. I really would like to keep the pistons stock. My friend reccommended a set of Toomey T-6 or T-5 pipes (unsure which to get), V force reeds (unsure about that too), some sort of intake, and a Pro design cool head. My goal is to keep the pistons stock for as long as possible. I am not sure what other mods to do. Someone mentioned "cages" as well, but i have not idea what they are. someone please fill me in, or direct me to a link. Jeff
