  1. What should I do for an air box? I bought my shee used, and the previous owner threw out the airbox when he switched to K&N's and just used pre filters. Works fine out on the beach, but I also do trail riding with my shee, and I'm tired of fowling out plugs any time I go through water too fast, especially since it's fun to go through it fast . And would putting an air box on mean having to rejet?
  2. LOL, well the stealership helped me once, when the ground went bad on the e brake and I couldn't figure it out, even after talking to my dad's friend who is the biggest banshee nut I know. He's bored and stoked his out to 530cc and has rebuilt it from the ground up at least 5 times now. But one call to the stealership and they had a guy on the phone who said to look at the e brake and that they sometimes have problems.
  3. Well I got it fixed, and it was something so simple I feel like a retard for not seeing it these past couple weeks. The little hose that connects the carbs together had come off on the right carb, but I never could see it cause there are so many wires and hoses that sit over it. I only thought to check it after I went over a jetting tutorial and noticed that hose in a picture.
  4. Just another update. Checked the carbs again, was a very tiny amount of dirt in the right bowl, cleaned it out and put it back together and still have the same problem. Checked to see if the carbs were in sync, and they are. It's starting to look like I might have to drag it down to the dealership
  5. It still doesn't idle even when it's warm, but like I said I can get it to start if I give it about a half throttle. I'll look into all these things you guys have mentioned and I'll let ya know.
  6. I'll have to look into it. I forgot to mention that when I do get it started and rev it up I get backfires out of the right side, and it seems like the throttle is a little slow to respond. And it will start when it's warm, but I have to be giving it about half throttle to get it to go, and it still won't idle. Before it was like all I had to do was sneeze on the kick start and the damn thing would start.
  7. My banshe doesn't want to idle or start. I can only get it to start if I use starting fluid or push start it. It's a 2000 banshee, and I've already checked a few things, compression is good in both cylinders, the carbs are spotless, spark doesn't appear to be weak, and it still runs great as long as I don't idle. I'm not really sure when it started as it happened when I was trying to figure out another problem on it, which turned out to be a bad ground on the E brake. And in case it matters, the mods: Toomey pipes Boost Bottle Carbs have been jetted (by a professional shop)
