  1. well to add in, i talked to him n he said he would feel more comfortable on a 125 and that he is gonna look around for a YZ 125, and as for me im gonna put the banshee on hold for a while, my father is giving me a CR 125
  2. well i dunno how set he is on tha cr, he might switch up n get a yz when i tell him they are a lil easier to ride...i dunno tho he is a real big honda dirtbike fan, but we'll see
  3. Thnx for the replies guys, when he 1st asked me i told him no, i wouldn't let him buy/ride anything else than a banshee...but apparently he wants to get his expierence up again before he hops on a banshee..
  4. hey all Im posting a question for a buddy of mine. He wants to know if a CR125 would be a good bike for him, he said he used to ride everyday for like 2 months on a XR80 like 10 years ago, so he does have a little expierence.Another thing that might factor in is, he isn't very stout, I'd say about 5'10 n pretty skinny. Let me know wha ur suggestions would be for him. Oh and he'll be doing mostly trail and pit riding.
  5. Hey, i was thinking maybe add in a multimedia section...some ppl new to all this might like to hear how they sound(i.e. idle, rev, ride by) before they buy them. i know personally i would, but its just something to think about
  6. Hey every1, jus figured I would update my banshee situation....everything fell through w/ tha 01 and 04 so I've decided to jus buy a 05 ...Im prolly gonna pick it up tomorrow or beginning of next week, I can't wait.

  9. therail, Im one step ahead of u bro, I actually jus read that last night, but I thank you anyway its the thought that counts. Yeah, all that stuff in the article is pretty much common sense, I think so anyway.I jus needed some advice on wether the price of tha shee was good or not. Everyone on here said its too much, I emailed him back n told him 3k, n still waiting for a return email, so we'll see...

  12. yeah I understand wa u guys are sayin about the whole 20 hours and being rebuilt already...that is a little strange....but it could possibly mean its got 20 hours on the rebuild, I dunno....I know I don;t really want something modified too much, because it would be my 1st banshee, but we'll see.
  13. Nah, I don't know the owner, I found it on ebay...but the seller claims it has been and I quote him "adult owned, ridden and professionally maintained"...I thank you guys for such quick replies.
  14. Hmm, maybe the guys means under 20 hours on the new rebuilt....quick question tho...when u said for being in NJ thats a little steep...I don't understand, whats NJ have to do with anything?
  15. whas goin on everybody, I new to the site actually jus stumbled across it last night.I don't yet own a banshee but trying to find one.Could everyone give me their advice on something; I found a 01 banshee, it has under 20 hours on it.The mods to it include:Yamaha Factory Effects body kit and seat, engine rebuilt with Wiseco crank and pistons,Durablue adjustable extended axle(rear bearings also done)FMH Fatty chrome headers and exhaust, ported fuel injectors,ITP chrome wheels with turf tamer tires,K&H air intake filter,NGK high performance plugs. Now being new to all this, do you guys think $3600 is a good price for that quad? thnx guys.
