I have a 99 and was wondering if cylinders are plated or not? i haven't had a chance to tear it down yet. I haven't had a banshee in years.

i have a 2002 banshee.i'm having a problem with the headlights.when i turn them on they come on for a few seconds and then go out.they won't com back on for a while and whe they do its a couple of seconds and then they go out again.has any one had this problem?thanks

Found It,i split the cases and found that one of the gears siezed on the shaft.it wont slide on the shaft.glad i have a spare trans.forks and everything else looked like new.thanks for the replies.

i was riding my banshee tonight and every thing was ok untill i was downshifting to first and it wouldn't go in.when i got home i checked it out and it will only go into 2nd and 3rd.it won't go down into first or up into 4th.any one have any ideas?it was fine before this and wasn't beating on it.wanted to go to the dunes this weekend.i guess thats out.what could it be? thanks

Ok ,i put fresh gas in it,mixed at 40:1.was still running like a pig.had 320 mains in it.i put 220 mains in it and it rips,but is pretty lean.what would be a good base line.don't want to buy a bunch of jets.has fmf pipes. thanks for the info.

i have a 2002 banshee,it has a ported top end,.03 over,fmf pipes,boost bottle,boysen reeds.it idles fine and pulls ok off idle,but falls flat and won't rev.carbs are cleaned and it has 320 main jets in it.still has the tors carb tops on it.i am in michigan.also using amsoil,says to mix at 50:1. is this ok ? thanks

just getting ready to rering my banshee.wondering if the cylinders are nicasil plated?if i do bore it would i have to replate the cylinders? thanks
