  1. I picked up a used Denton stabilizer and I don't see how it mounts up. Anyone have any pics?
  2. Guess I'll call and ask ASR. They are +1 +2 so they should be offset 2'' forward.....correct? Right now if I stand directly over the upper heim joint, it is farther back than the lower. Sould they line up vertically? Or should the upper heim joint be farther forward than the lower?
  3. Never mind....... got it........... $17.99 at Meijer.
  4. I need to splice into a power source and a ground. What color wires am I looking for? Thanks.
  5. Looks to be that the upeer a-arms are on the wrong sides. Are they? It just doesn't look right. Thet are ASR +1 +2 a-arms.
  6. I picked up a nice set of 28mm oval bored carbs off Ebay. They came with 25 pilots and 390 mains. So far, I had to go with 30 pilots for it to idle right and I had to go back to the longer needles with the clip in the second notch from the top. It still stumbles a little and then it cleans up. My question is......... Doesn't 390 main seem a little fat? Can a main that is to fat cause it to stumble or load up a little just before the pipe hits? I was running 25 pilots, 300 mains and the clip in the third notch on the stock carbs. I have no room to do a good long run to get a good plug chop. What do ya think? My mods are listed below.
  7. Are there any markings on top of stock Yamaha pistons?
  8. Put the stock needle back in, e-clip in the third notch............. Problem solved! Did some plug chops and it's right on. Thanks for the help!
  9. Thanks! I just put the stock needles in and I'll give it a try tomorrow.
  10. They should. I just got a set of HD's and they are 100% better than stock. They hook up like a bitch!
  11. Ok, here's the deal............ It starts on the first kick without choking it. Seems to stumble and load up when it's cold and from idle to abbout 1/2 throttle when it's warm. It acts like the pilot circuit is rich but I have the stock pilots in it and I should have to go richer with the mods......... no? Here's the mods....... Pro Circuit pipes K&N pods ported/polished (don't know who did it) Boyesen reeds with spacers Stock carbs without TORS 300 MAINS 25 PILOTS Aftermarket needle (not sure who makes it but it's longer in length and the taper is longer and alot thinner). Anyone out there running a simular setup? Please help!

  17. Newbie here in need of some help............... I picked up a '99 shee and the small coolant hose that goes from the head to the top of the radiator has been cut and blocked off. Any reason for this? Why would the previous owner do this? Do I need to replace the hose and hook it back up? Thanks.
  18. Pulled the carbs and the mains are 320's and the pilots are 27.5's, needle clip in the third notch from the top. I put in the 300's and the 25 pilots and will give it a shot. Thanks!
  19. Thanks! I'll pull the carbs tonight and see what's in there. He gave me a bag of jets and a few pilots so I should have what I need 280, 290, 300 and 310 mains. 30 pilots. What are the stock pilots and stock needle position? Thanks!
  20. No box........just K&N's and Pro Circuit pipes. The guy that I got it from ice dragged it and it's jetted for winter. He doesn't know what the stock jetting was or how it should be for summer with the pipes and filters.
