1. I'm running the single carb (35mm) with a basically stock motor(toomey tr6 pipes) & found that the jetting out-of- the box was way off.  I'm at 2850 ft elevation though, so of course your jetting will be different. The main problems were in the mid-range & I changed the pilots to the 58's & ordered a EEK needle from Carb Parts Warehouse (thanks Sredish) & it seemed to cure those problems. I'm running a 205 main. :bolt:

    Thanks, Bro.

I'll check out what is in there when I get home tonight and report back.

  2. Gotta be the needle, needle postion or pilot.Did you try adjusting the mixture screws?

    339467

Yeah, I tried messing with the air screw. When I got the carb from Trinity, the air screw was all the way in. I started with the screw 1.5 turns out and went from there.

I dropped the needle in the clip and that didnt help either.

Any suggestions as to what pilot I should even be starting with? I did my plug checks and the main jet is good.

I'm close to putting the dual carbs back on...

    Thanks.

  3. Greetings.

On my Banshee woods quad, I have a new Keihin 35mm PWK carb from Trinity. Other engine mods include: Trinity Stage II porting, Trinity cool head with 20mm domes, 3/8" Reed Spacers, Aktiv Reeds, Dynoport Pipe, CFM Aluminum airbox with K&N, and thats about it for the engine.

    My problem is this...

It starts and idles great. It runs great from the midrange up. It has a wierd bog just off idle, but if you feather the throttle, it will rev.

I'm new to the 2 into 1 thing and really dont know where to start fixing this issue. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

  4. Yeah the pistons are still good, they have  normal wear on them I'll clean em up if your intrested.. you gotta be realistic about them though though if you wanted the pistons too.. they have a summers worth on them

I also have a stock crank if anyone is intrested, it needs rebuilt though its out of a different motor from the motor that I'm selling the cylinders from. but everything is out of a 98 except the coolhead.. bought it in 2002

    How much for the cylinders?

  5. Ok! I was stupid & bid on two auctions for paddle tires from in2glamis. Got a good price on them but this shithead sends them out just banded together. One set has both wheels scratched & the other set are scratched & dented.

Don't make the mistake I did! DON'T BUY FROM in2glamis AKA INLAND ATV!! :bolt:

I can relate to what you are going through with this :yank: . I bought a bumper for my son's TRX90 and he sent me one for a 400ex and then REFUSED to take it back and give me what I bought. THEN, I bought a pair of rear Hipers that when I received them, the whole hub was eaten up and they were unusable. Again, I took one in the ass.

Never again will I buy from that :yank: .

  6. I'm interested in the following stuff...

    Vitos 4mm stroker crank

big bore cylinders that are ported for high end,on 69mm with forged pistons

34mm pj carbs with upi intake boots that are yellow

works triple rate shocks with rezzies--just rebuilt, cost me $200

    AMP link Denton steering stabilizer

I have lots of stock and aftermarket stuff to trade.

  7. i got stuff to trade for the armidillo a-arms i also have a -4 drag axle for a banshee not crome but its narrow

    337004

Ive got a NEW Lonestar Axcallibur Blaster Axle. The Blaster Axle is -4 for a Banshee, but it is adjustable +2 or +4 so you could go back to stock Banshee width.

  8. Is the RAD carrier a round housing?

How much for the +2 swingarm with carrier and rear rims?

    337342

The RAD carrier is NOT round housing. Its the billet, standard type carrier with bearings.

The swingarm is NEW, never installed. It has the tapered bearing, round style carrier with bearings. I paid $770 for it. Make me an offer. This stuff needs to go.

Rear rims (8x8, 4/115) with NEW Holeshot 18x8x11MX's... Again, make me a reasonable offer.

    Thanks.

  9. I have a lid if you need it.  someone on here will probably have both the lid and the box together.

    336211

I've got a stock airbox with vented lid and k&N with powerflo.

    Make me an offer.

  10. BET is running 2 Harescrambles this year. The first is next weekend, 3/20. 4.5 mile course that will prove to be alot of fun. One piece of advice, have skids on your quad.

We're running 4 MX's this year, 4 TT's, and one HC as well.

If any of you guys are going to race a TT this year at BET, please let me know, I'll see about leaving a pass at the gate for you.

    Bring your "A" game...

  11. Has anyone tried pyramid reeds? I was thinking of picking up a set used for cheap. I cannot afford 200 for the vforces right now, and I figured they would be a cheap alternative. THanks.

    331143

I was using Pyramid reeds. I went back to the Aktiv reeds on Trinity ported cages.

I have tried DF3's and I didnt see alot for the money.

I am sold on the Aktiv reeds, especially for the $$.

Just my $.02 worth. Your mileage may vary.

  12. I've got the following stuff that I need to clear out of the garage. I would prefer to trade for other aftermarket stuff.

    Stuff that needs to go:

Banshee airbox with vented lid and K&N filter and Powerflo

Stock front and rear shocks (red), rebuilt in 2002

87 J Arm chassis (red) with Lonestar +2 +1 upper v arms. No lowers, but can be bought through Lonestar

    87 Swingarm with carrier

NEW in box RAD Banshee Billet Carrier with bearings

NEW Lonestar Axcallibur +2 +4 BLASTER axle

87 Banshee front hubs with newer rotors

Used white banshee plastic. Rears look pretty good, fronts are a little beat up

Probably other stuff I cant think of, but if you need it, ask.

    Stuff I Want:

Aftermarket Front shocks for +2 +1 a arms

    Aftermarket rear shock

Polished or chrome clutch side cover

    Billet water pump cover

    BLING!!!

I dunno... tell me what you have to trade!!!

    Thanks.

I'd personally like to invite all of you guys to come to BET in Belleville, IL to try our TT. I personally do not know of any better tracks around. We are celebrating our 40th year racing this year and we are one of the only races around that offer 150% payback for ATV's in pro classes.

We will also be running a ST at the St. Clair County fair in August.
