i was lookin around for a 400cc kit for my banshee. just for future reasons, dont have the money right now but i was wondeirng if any of you guys have heard or have T-rex cylinder kits. i was on alba's sight and they have them so i checked them out and was just wondering if anyone would give me any feedback on them.

after reading posts after posts of people rebuilding there shee's im thinkin of doin the same but im not sure really where to start. i want to do a complte teardown to have the frame powdercoated but where should i start first when taking everythiing off and is it complicated? any help would be nice, thanx

im not sure if its just a banshee thing or my shee's front shox are beat but there very stiff and when i push down on the front end the front end stays and dosent spring back up unless i lift the front of the quad back up offf the ground

i accually use K&N airfilter cleaner and a toothbrush and my shee is cleaner then its ever been

i bought my 97 banshee about 6 months ago and and have only ridden it about 4 or 5 times and my chain snapped the last time i went rideing so i went out and bought a RK x-ring chian and and sunstar front and rear sprockets. well i put the sprockets on and put the chain on and did whatever i had to do to make it the right langth and made sure it was somwhat tight and i went rideing. well as soon as i got into the trails i reconized something that i usaually didnt hear, everytime i hit powerband i heard like a clink noise , so i kept riding slowly but nothing until i hit powerband i heard that same clink noise again. it sounded like the noise i heard when the sprocket on my old raptor was shot like the chain was skipping over my front sprocket when i got on the gas. so i figured it was that so i got home and just switched my new sunstar sprocket with my old rethal front sprocket and i went back out to see if the chain would skip over the front sprocket again and nothing. it was fine, so i was just wondering , what kind of front sprocket do you guys use or do you recomend??

my plugs are new ....ill have to clean the carbs and change the jeeting around

i dont think its blown, i did a compression test and it has plenty of compression and once it does get started it runs okay

i was wondering if takeing off yer airbox is good, because i would think sand, dirt mud and other harmful elements would get into ure motor a lot easier, or should i just take the airbox lid off?

i always see frames painted one color but you never see one color fade into another. i was thinkin what if you made the front half of the frame black and have it fade into blue. then the front plastics could be black and rear plastics would be blue. i just thought that would be a different idea if theres any of you about to paint ure frames. tell me what you honestly think of the idea i have for a color sceme.

i have fmf fatty's and there like completly redish orange from rust. do you know of any way to get it off or maybe at least get rid of some of it? also do you have any ideas how much chroming would cost to get them chromed if they had already been sand blasted?

i bought my 97 banshee last may after i sold my raptor to my dad cuz he wanted a quad to go riden with me. the first time i go riden i get to the sandpit with my firends and were haven a great time riden around , im pretty stoked cuz im riden my new shee and i go around a burm and the rear wheels lock up and it stalls. so i start it up and try to go and nothing. i look down and the chain snaped and the top part of the case above the front sprocket is cracked off. luckly it didnt do enough damage to ruin my motor. it has a little crack and slowly leaks oil but as long as i check it before every ride im ok. but it still sucks havin a cracked case

hey every1 this is my first post and unfortully its about why i cant get my shee started. i bought used mikuni flat body carbs off of soem guy on ebay and i put em on and it fired up fine (this was around october) then it started to act sorta funny, it almost seemed like it had no power, it had power but once i got to 3rd it would just bog. i didnt ride for a couple of months after that, then in decmber i went out to go riden and i couldnt get it started for my life it took like 20 kicks to finelly get it running. now, the only way i can get it started now sence its so cold is to have my buddy tow me and i have to pop start it, and once its warmed up i can kick it over fine. but if i leave it out in the shed one night the next day i cant get it to start if my life depended on it. i dont kno if you guys have any suggestions on what could be wrong with it. (and i dont think its the top end cuz i did a compression test and it has plenty of compression, i ws thinkin it oculd be soemthing wrong with the carbs.)thanks
