Hi all,
I bougth my banshee just over a month ago. The gearbox was very smooth.
Recently my banshee seems to be struggleing to get into 4th gear (3rd to 4th). I have to retry a few times before it goes into 4th gear. 1st thought to 3rd is fine, as is 4th through to 6th.
Can the following two factors be the cause of this problem:
1. I recently tightened the chain by adjusting the rear axis. Can this be caused by a too tight chain? If so why does it only affect the above mentioned gear selection?
2. Also, the clutch cable was replaced just before I bought the quad. Can it be that it stretched and needs to be tightened? again if so why would this only affect the above mentioned gear selection?
What else might it be?
