I have the lid off and the snorkel is gone, i have a k&n with an outer wear.

Ok this weekend i will talk to the guy who did the port job. I will also try and move the needle clip up one. I am only running a 230 or so jet for my main, is that small? I cheack the plugs and they seem to be a dark tan.

I have not touched the needles just main jet. THis bike is a rocket up top but low end if you try to set up a low speed jump and try to time the gas at the top to get a good lift, it kind of falls on its face. Thanks everyone i am going to try all your suggestions. but keep them coming.

This is for my dads banshee, We had it port and polished by a local engine builder. He does good work. Anyways after the port job was done it seems to have lost lowend performance. Top end is great but low end is a little un-predictable like you have to throtle it up a little. Has a fresh motor, only .02 over, cool head 20cc domes, fmf gnarly pipes and silencers, new clutch, 4deg. key in flywheel for trail, v-force reeds, k&n filter. Motor runs excellent but to take off i have to throtle it up a little like it kind of bogs alittle. Has stock carbs and i have only messed with jets no needles or anything. Please help or my dad says he is getting a 4-stroke. Thanks everyone.

By the way to show good of shape and quality of this shee, If you are serious and want this quad. Come over and test drive it, and i dont mean that you come over and start it and put it in gear and rev it up, i mean come over and test ride it! We have 12 acres of fields and a small track for you play on and if you feel you want to try it out on the road for more than a few 100 ft, go ahead i will get on my quad and go for a 3mile ride around the block. This way you know it is what you want. Still trying to get pics sorry fellas & ladies.

450 for sure. All i ride is trail, ihad 2 banshees with lots of goodies on them, and my dad has one. I sold mine and got a 04 yfz450 and i love, suspension and power is great. I feel as if i can go over any terrain with out a problem where as the banshee i just did flat riding. I mean i can jump my stock 450 with out bouncing the handle bars off my googles. Banshees make great power! 450 combine great low end power with handling and reliability. Get the 450 you will be happy

This is my dads banshee, he is 47 know and figures he doesnt need a banshee anymore. Fresh rebuild 2months ago. All paper work to show rebuild is fresh. When the rebuild was done he had them port and polish the motor-wicked fast! Only bored .020 over, cool heads with 20cc domes, v-force 2 reeds, new clutch with stiffer springs, and fly wheel key adjustment (4deg) I think. newer set of tires front and back. back has kenda bear claws, and the fronts have holeshots. Great bike, dependable, runs great. Make offer local pic up only please Location of bike is in port huron michigan. !hr north-east of the Detroit Tigers. GO TIGERS!!!! Have pics asap, trust me no ding dents or broken items on this ride. The color sceme is stock whit and blue. Looks great! And i will admit it kicks the crap out of my slightly moded yfz450. Not all the cars are built here but the money atleast comes back to the US. For god sake GM shouldnt have a problem selling car. The money that comes back to america only helps us, like when the big 3 donate to reserch cancer, and all kinds of illnesses. Donate for sports stadiums. Stuff like that, but on the other hand the big three need to take pay cuts! There is no reason a hi lo operator should make $35/hr and have 8 weeks of vacation. I am not trying to step on peoples toes, just listing some facts. Eric

I am a journey man tool & die maker. In other words i build a metal stamping die that will stamp out brackets, body pannels, hoods, oil cooler plates that help cool the oil running to the motor of your car.
